In LPU students can opt two specialisations it is dual specialisation course. So, students can opt any two specialization from almost 24 or + options. It is two year programme, in which first year in general and in second year specialisation come. There is related programmes are like, tie- up programmes, international credit transfer programmes and you can opt MBA in specific specialization like hospital and healthcare management, international business and tourism and hospitality. The course is meant for students looking for a leadership role in the tourism and hospitality industry. The eligibility for the course is a pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview Or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), subject to qualifying Interview or completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), subject to qualifying Interview Or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), subject to qualifying Interview. This course introduces various departments of hotels and resorts, their functions, the contribution of each department in the hotel business, internal management of hospitality, work culture, style, profiles, and opportunities. This course provides a comprehensive analysis of individual and group behavior in organizations. Its purpose is to provide an understanding of how organizations can be managed more effectively and at the same time enhance the quality of employees' work life. Introduces the application of economic models in making managerial decisions fructify into successful business propositions and includes knowledge on a variety of tourism destinations and cultural destinations of India. Focuses on recent trends and the potential of the tourism industry. This course integrates the accounting requirements of the hospitality industry with generally accepted accounting principles. The students will be introduced to accounting concepts, conventions, accounting processes, and the preparation of financial statements. Introduction to tourism destinations worldwide and their geography, introduction to basics of computer software and hardware, IT, internet and networking with special reference to online reservation software and their application in Tourism and hospitality industry is also given. This emphasizes marketing concepts and practical implications of marketing strategies. Focuses on ability to design tour packages and market travel agency products. Also, focuses on the geography, culture, essential sites, attractions, and travel tips of National tourism circuits. Along the way, this provides students with information to enhance the traveler’s appreciation of what they will be seeing, tasting and experiencing. The NIRF ranking of LPU in the management s is 37. The highest salary offered to the students was 21 LPA while 5.5 LPA was the average salary package. The fee for the course is Rs 1,90,000 per semester
