How is the Jain Entrance Test conducted by the university for B.Tech courses?

Jain Entrance Test (JET) for engineering courses is an online proctored exam at Jain University. The following criteria must be met in order to appear for the online test:

  • Supported Devices: Desktop and laptop PCs are supported devices. Webcam and microphone use is required, and they must be left on throughout the test. 
  • Non-supported devices: iPad, iPhone, and Android devices
  • Operating System: Windows 7 or above is required (Windows 10 is advised), Mac OS 10.13 or later, and Linux (only Ubuntu versions 18.04, 16.04, and 15.04) systems are supported for desktops and laptops. 
  • Browsers: It is advised to use Google Chrome 84.0.4147.135 or later. Use only Google Chrome as your browser. 
  • Minimum Configuration:
  1. Processor = Core 2 Duo and above. 
  2. Processor speed = 1.5 GHz and above; 
  3. RAM = minimum 1 GB. 
  4. Minimum Internet Speed = 2 Mbps. 
  5. Others = Pop-up blockers on the web browser must be disabled.
