Getting admission in MBA at Mittal School of Business, LPU is not an easy achievement for any candidate because of their quality admission intake. If, I am not wrong, LPU has maintain such standards of quality admission intake and has very stringent eligibility criteria also. But if you get admission in MBA, LPU after satisfying their eligibility criteria, you will fly high, sky will be the limit because from day 1 LPU acts like their Tag Line “Think Big” and Slogan “Transforming Education, Transforming India”. Now lets see how good LPU is for an MBA from various parameters which are as follows: Curriculum: The curriculum of MBA at LPU is very Industry oriented. There is a term CDR (Curriculum Development Research) held after each and every 6 months in which many senior industry people suggest that what are need of present day industry. Faculty knows all the strengths and weaknesses of students are noted and course correction is devised after the considerable suggestions of Industry tycoons. Thus LPU cares what to teach according to the demand of industry, so that all the students can be able to cop up the outer word after qualifying from LPU. Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurship does mot means opens a shop and making money from money. In LPU, students come up with the unique idea of business and in fact LPU provides them seed money also for their start-up. Since the inception of Entrepreneurship ventures, LPU has witnessed more than 300 start-ups.

Being a management student of this university, I would say a big NO if you really wanted to do MBA than just go for LPU it is best university for management and yes for other subjects also. Industrial exposure, Internships are there and moreover best placements opportunities for management students are there in the university. According to LPU officials they usually say that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. 500+ companies visit to the campus and university provide them the best of the candidates who are already industry ready. People who think that they can study from where ever and it will be best for them, then I am sorry to say this, that if u what to study for just a piece of a paper then please go ahead these universities/collages are no harm.

Dear Student,

Both MBA in Logistics & SCM and PGD in Logistics & SCM are similar courses that would be good choices if you want build a strong working knowledge about the subject. These courses offer practical, case-study based knowledge about this field.

You can also consider Diploma and Certificate courses but it would not have that detailed curriculum. However, it would take you a shorter time and cost much less than the MBA or PGD course.

You can check our career guide for Logistics and Supply Chain Management for more details. You can check this list of colleges offering MBA / PGDM in L&SCM and apply through the Common Application Form (CAF). If you have any queries, please call our helpline number 18005729877.

Thank you.
