In whatever you interested in further both are different courses with different scope, as per my knowledge i would suggest MBA. For doing MBa, selecting a good B-school ,is very important, as LPU student I would suggest LPU. LPU is known for its MBA. LPU provides quality education, with great scholarship programs plus holistic learning opportunities. Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation, Mittal school of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institution in India, as per NIRF ranking 2021. The curriculum is made keeping in mind the current market trends. The placements are 100%, and students have special placement-oriented classes that serve as a booster for students to clear the exam and interview. Companies like Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Adani Wilmar, Altruist, Al-Rakha, Dharam Consultancy selected LPU students for International locations. The highest package availed is 21 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average of 5-12 LPA packages and the highest package was 21LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India.

LPU is also the number 2 in the Indian B Schools. LPU has even been accredited by ACBPS. The through case studies, simulations and industrial visits learn a lot.The local and international businesses are visited as part of the curriculum. The curriculum is designed with the help of National Stock and Exchange and other such companies. The experienced faculty works hard to bring success to their students. Series of guest lectures by industry experts also enables students to get the best of the industrial world. The three tier preparation of the students for the primary, secondary and tertiary sector enables them to explore themselves in a better manner.

Dear Student,

Both Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Commerce (MCom) are good choices of courses after a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree.

While an MBA is a management-based course and will prepare you for administrative roles in businesses, an MCom is a technical course and will prepare you for a career in core Finance and Commerce related areas.

An MBA is a good choice of course if you wish to join the industry as a management professional. The course promises high salaries but only if you complete it from a reputed college. You also have to keep in mind that an MBA is an expensive course.

An MCom would be a good choice of course if you wish to pursue Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) course as the MCom curriculum will help you study for both of these courses. MCom is also suited for students who wish to take up academics or research in related fields.

Check our article on MBA vs MCom for detailed information. Ultimately, the choice between the two courses and the better course will depend on the type of career you wish to pursue.

Please feel free to write back if you need any more information.

Thank you.
