I am a final year medical student. I would like to enquire whether I will be able to do MBA or post graduation in hospital management at your college after MBBS? Are there any exam and is math needed to clear that, if yes when can I apply?

Dear Student,

You can definitely go for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) course after completing your MBBS. If you are in the final year of studies, you are already eligible to apply for the course.

MBA is a good option after MBBS and many medical professionals consider going for a management course either during their college or after gaining some experience in the field. You can go for an MBA General Management degree or choose a specialized course such as:

You can also opt for Post Graduate Diploma courses such as:

Admission to MBA courses is generally done on the basis of entrance exams such as  CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT etc. You can check the detailed MBA admission process for more clarity.

Please note that having good knowledge of Maths is essential for clearing any MBA entrance exam. As an alternative, you can look for colleges offering direct admissions without entrance exams. here is the direct MBA admission process.

You can check our article which explains how to pursue MBA after MBBS for in-depth information on the subject.

Please also note that CollegeDekho is a platform where you can find information about education in India and abroad. We do not offer any course directly but we can help you find and take admission to the best MBA college in India for your needs and requirements. Just fill our Common Application Form (CAF) or call our toll-free number 1800-572-9877 for free student counselling.

Thank you.
