Sir, I am confused between Chandigarh University and LPU for Btech CSE. Please help.

You have to consider various factors to make a choice between Chandigarh University and LPU for B.Tech CSE. These factors are placements, fees, ranking, quality of education, infrastructure, etc. According to the NIRF 2023 rankings, CU is ranked higher than LPU under the engineering category. While CU was ranked at 38th position, LPU was ranked at 50th position for its engineering courses. It means Chandigarh University has performed well under the different parameters of NIRF. 

On the other hand, placement opportunities are slightly better for B.Tech CSE at LPU than CU as per placement statistics. The highest package offered at LPU was Rs 62.72 LPA whereas in CU was Rs. 54.75 LPA in 2022. Another major comparison factor between CU and LPU is fees. Where the fee structure for B.Tech CSE at Chandigarh University ranges between Rs 1,25,000 - Rs 1,58,500 per semester, the fee charged at LPU ranges between Rs 1,20,000 to Rs 1,90,000 per sem. 

Apart from this, you can compare the infrastructure, facilities and faculty for both the universities. In this way, you can easily compare both universities as per your criteria and decide which one is better for you.
