AP ICET Analytical Ability Syllabus 2025

The AP ICET syllabus is set by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and it is divided into three broad categories. Check the important topics from the AP ICET analytical ability section mentioned in the table below:

Data Sufficiency	In this portion, a question is asked followed by data in the form of two statements labeled (i) and (ii). Candidates have to answer the question by deciding which of the statements is sufficient to answer the question or if both are insufficient to answer the question and choosing the appropriate option out of four.
Problem Solving	Sequences and Series: Completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship, Analogies of numbers and alphabet, missing numbers in a sequence or a series, odd ones out. Coding and Decoding: A code or pattern in the English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of letters has to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes Date, Time & Arrangement Problems: Clock problems, Blood Relationships, Arrivals, Departures and Schedules, Calendar problems, Symbols and Notation Interpretation, Seating Arrangements. Data Analysis: Data is provided in the form of a Table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram, or Passage and the same is to be analyzed and the questions pertaining to the data are to be answered.

AP ICET Marking Scheme

The AP ICET marking scheme has remained the same for many years and it expected to be the same for AP ICET 2025. The AP ICET marking scheme is as follows:

Candidates are awarded one mark for each correct response on the AP ICET question paper.
There is no negative marking for any incorrect responses on the AP ICET exam.
Candidates will not receive any penalty for unanswered questions on the AP ICET exam.
Candidates will not receive negative marking for choosing more than one MCQ answer option. Such questions will be marked as zero.
