What is AP POLYCET Passing Marks 2024?
To qualify for the AP POLYCET 2024 exam, candidates belonging to the general category are required to score a minimum of 30 marks out of 120 marks, which is equal to at least 25% marks. It is to be noted that there is no provision for passing marks for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories i.e. SC, ST, OBC as they will be included in the AP POLYCET merit list irrespective of the marks scored by them. Candidates who fail to obtain the minimum passing marks will not be considered for admission to diploma courses offered by polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Category-wise AP POLYCET Passing Marks 2024
The category wise AP POLYCET Passing Marks include 25% marks which is equivalent to 30 marks out of 120. However, there are no passing marks for reserved categories (SC,ST,OBC)

Subject-wise AP POLYCET Passing Marks 2024
Candidates have to secure a minimum of 12.5 marks out of 50 marks in Mathematics a minimum of 10 marks out of 40 marks in Physics and 7.5 out of 30 in Chemistry to qualify for AP POLYCET exam. Candidates who fail to secure the minimum passing marks in Mathematics or Physics and Chemistry will not be considered for admission to the diploma courses offered by polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

How are the Passing Marks of AP POLYCET 2024 Calculated?
The passing marks for AP POLYCET are calculated based on the total marks of the exam. The exam consists of 120 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The total marks for the exam are 120. Candidates have to obtain a minimum of 30 marks out of 120 marks to qualify for the exam.
