Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Junior Lecturers (JL) in Government Junior (Intermediate) Colleges, Degree Lecturers (DL) in Government Degree Colleges and Polytechnic Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges across the state. Along with the official notification, APPSC has released the eligibility criteria, application dates, exam pattern, and syllabus for these posts.

APPSC Junior Lecturer (JL) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria for Junior Lecturer (JL) post in government junior colleges is as follows –

  • The applicants must have a Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% of marks.
  • For example, if the candidate is applying for the post of Commerce lecturer, he/ she should have passed M.Com at PG level with at least 50% of marks.
  • The applicants must be the residents of Andhra Pradesh domicile.

APPSC Degree Lecturer (DL) Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria for Degree Lecturer (DL) post in government degree colleges is as follows –

  • The applicants must have a post graduate degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% of marks.
  • The candidates must have qualified UGC NET / CSIR NET / AP SET/ SLET/ TS SET.
  • Candidates who possess a Ph.D. degree in compliance to UGC Regulations 2009 are exempted from the above exams.
  • The applicants must be the residents of Andhra Pradesh domicile.

APPSC Polytechnic Lecturers Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria for Polytechnic lecturer post in government polytechnic college is as follows –

  • The candidates must have a B.E/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 50 – 55% of marks.
  • For example, if the candidates are applying for the post of Chemical Engineering lecturer post, he/ she should have a B.E/ B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • The applicants must be the residents of Andhra Pradesh domicile.

APPSC JL, DL and Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment Application Process

Candidates must follow the below steps to submit the application form for APPSC JL, DL and Polytechnic Lecturer posts –

  • APPSC accepts only online application forms for the above posts.
  • The candidates must visit the official website of APPSC to register.
  • Candidates must primarily complete the OTPR application to obtain OTPR ID.
  • After obtaining OTPR ID and password, the candidates can log in and fill the online application form.
  • The candidates must pay the prescribed application fee before filling the online application form for JL/ DL/ Polytechnic lecturer post.
  • The application fee can be paid in online mode.
  • Take the printout of the confirmation page after submitting the application form.
