Preparation-Strategy to Study the Atoms & Nuclei Chapter in Physics

Here is a preparation strategy for the applicants to study the chapter on atoms and nuclei from the physics syllabus.

Preparation Strategy for Atoms & Nuclei

Day

Topics

Tasks

Day 1
  • Alpha particle scattering experiment
  • Rutherford model of atoms/Bohr model
  • Energy levels
  • Hydrogen spectrum

Read all the major concepts of these topics, and practice numerical if any.

Day 2

  • Size & composition of the nucleus
  • Atomic masses/isotopes/isobars/isotones
  • Radioactivity
  • Alpha, beta, gamma rays and particles & their properties

Revise the previous topics and prepare these. Radioactivity is a simple concept; applicants can cover it quickly.

Day 3

  • Radioactive decay law
  • Relation of mass and energy
  • Mass defect
  • Binding energy per nucleon (its variation with mass number)
  • Nuclear fusion and fission

Cover the remaining radioactive concepts and then move on to mass-energy relations and nuclear fusion and fission. These are important topics in this chapter.

Day 4

Dear Student,

Although Dr. S. & SS Ghandhy Government Engineering College, Surat does not offer a direct admission to second-year diploma in engineering program, it does grant admission to regular 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering based on 10th marks. For admission to other second-year courses, students are required to have completed a diploma or B.Sc degree. Based on your marks in the Diploma or B.Sc course, you may get admission to the second year as a lateral entry student. The admission process at Dr. S. & SS Ghandhy Government is based on merit and a list is created based on …

Dear Student,

Agar aap ka GATE score 530 hain, to NIT Durgapur, IIIT Bihar aur IITDM Kurnool mein Data Science & Artificial Intelligence course ke liye admission mil sakta hain. Agar aap OPEN Category se belong karte hain, toh NIT Durgapur mein aap ko shayad admission na mile, but OBC-NCL/ EWS ategory mein admission mil sakti hain. Aap doosre NIT colleges accepting GATE score 500-600 bhi check kar sakte hain. Unfortunately, GATE score 530 pe aap ko kisi bhi IIT mein admission nahi milegi.

We hope this answers your query. Good luck!

As per the eligibility criteria set by the JNTUH authority, to be eligible as a local candidate for the TS EAMCET, all students are required to have completed their 10+2 level education from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana. Therefore, since your son has not done his Intermediate/ 10+2 from a school affiliated with the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, he does not meet the TS EAMCET 2025 eligibility criteria and cannot sit for the entrance exam. However, you can explore other similar exams for which your son will be eligible such as the AP EAMCET 2025 …
