Previously, these colleges did not have any centralized or common admission process. Most of the colleges offer admission based on Class 12th Merit or based on their entrance exam scores. BBA Admission in Maharashtra 2024: Selection Process

The BBA selection process of colleges in Maharashtra is also separate for each college. A general outline of how to get admission to BBA colleges in Maharashtra is given below.

  • Fill in the application form for the college.

  • Appear for the MAH BBA CET or CET exam conducted by individual colleges.

  • Get shortlisted based on the entrance test and Class 12th score.

  • Appear for Group Discussion and/ or Personal Interview rounds (if any).

  • Check the merit list of colleges for admission status.

  • If selected, finalize admission by paying the application fee.

  • If not, check the waitlist to try for subsequent rounds of admission.

Previously most colleges used to shortlist candidates based on Class 12th scores. However, now CET exam scores will be used to select candidates for BBA admission. While Group Discussions are rare, some colleges do conduct them but Personal Interviews are far more common. Colleges release the Merit List and the Waitlist simultaneously on their website. If any candidate on the Merit List gives up their seat or fails to take admission before the deadline, it becomes available for a Waitlisted candidate.

The criteria to be eligible for BBA admissions in Maharashtra 2024 are as follows.

  • Candidate must have appeared for either MAH BBA CET or the entrance exam conducted by the BBA college.

  • The candidate must have completed Class 12th from a recognized board.
  • The candidate must have scored 50% marks in Class 12th (may vary from college to college).

  • Domicile may be required in certain cases.

Previously, no common entrance test for BBA admissions in Maharashtra State was conducted but some colleges conducted their own entrance tests. However, the Maharashtra State government has passed an order that it is now mandatory to appear for a Common Entrance Test for BBA admission in Maharashtra.   • Students whose age is not more than 21 years are eligible for this exam
