The overall approximate passing rate and inclusion of difficult topics like analytical and logical reasoning sections make Bihar B.Ed CET a bit more difficult than UP B.Ed JEE. The previous year passing rate for Bihar B.Ed CET stood at approximately 60% for over 3,00,000+ candidates appearing for the exam. For UP B Ed JEE, the passing percentage for 2023 stood at approximately 70% for almost 5,00,000+ candidates. Therefore, we can witness that the passing percentage for UP B.Ed JEE is much higher than Bihar B.Ed CET despite a higher number of applicants.

However, candidates must keep in mind that UP B.Ed JEE entails a negative marking of -0.33 for each incorrect answer, unlike Bihar B.Ed CET. This definitely increases the difficulty level of the UP B.Ed JEE exam, but again, the questions posed are quite simple. As a result, it is safe to say that the UP B.Ed JEE is easier as compared to Bihar B.Ed CET.

The marking scheme for both examinations is fairly easy. For Bihar B.Ed CET 2024, there’s +1 mark for each correct answer and no negative mark for any incorrect answer(s). For UP B.Ed JEE 2024, candidates will get +2 marks for every correct answer and -0.33 for each wrong answer attempted.
