Latest Update: The CUET 2024 exam was held from May 15 to May 29, 2024. Candidates who had appeared and qualified for the exam become eligible for admission to BSc courses. Eligibility Criteria for Top CUET BSc Colleges
Depending on the college or university, the eligibility criteria for BSc admission may differ. Candidates can, however, take a look at the following basic CUET eligibility criteria for BSc admissions:
- For any of the UG courses offered, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognised board
- Candidates must have earned a minimum percentage of marks in their 10+2 education, which may differ from college to college. For general category candidates, a minimum of 50% is needed, whereas for SC/ST or reserved category candidates, it is 45%
- Admission to BSc courses is not restricted by age
Top CUET BSc Colleges Admissions Process
Candidates must go through the admissions process outlined below in order get admission to one of the top CUET BSc colleges:
Step 1: Application form-filling: On the official NTA website, complete the CUET application form for the BSc programme with your personal and academic information.
Step 2: Admit Card: Following the completion of the application process, the university will issue an admit card with information about the date, time, and location of the CUET 2024 exams. Students can then appear for the exam using this admit card.
Step 3: Results and Merit List: Based on the candidates' performance in the CUET entrance exam, the university will announce the results and create a CUET 2024 merit list . The merit list will be used to select the applicants who advance to the next stage of the admissions process.
Step 4: Counselling and Admission: Candidates who have been shortlisted will be called to schedule counselling sessions or interviews. During those sessions, they may be asked to submit additional documents, take part in focus groups, or conduct in-person interviews. Top CUET BSc Colleges Counselling Procedure
The following stages are included in the CUET 2024 Counselling procedures :
- Following the release of the CUET results, the participating universities will publish a merit list based on the performance of the applicants in the CUET 2024 entrance exam. The names of candidates who are eligible for counselling will be listed on the merit list
- The counselling schedule will then be made available on the official websites of the participating universities in CUET. It will include the counselling sessions' dates, times, and location
- Candidates who have been shortlisted must fill out the appropriate university's registration form in order to sign up for counselling sessions
- Document verification is required by candidates in order to have their paperwork for the counselling process, including mark sheets, identity documents, and category certificates (if applicable), verified
- Candidates must complete a choice filling form in order to choose their preferred colleges and courses during the counselling process. They must list their options in order of preference
- Candidates will be assigned seats by participating universities in accordance with their exam scores, the choices they make, and the seats that are available. According to availability, there will be several rounds of seat distribution
- Once a seat has been assigned, candidates must accept the seat by paying the admission fee within the allotted time frame. Additional paperwork and formalities, like submitting a migration certificate or other necessary forms, might also be requested of them
- Candidates must report to the designated college within the allotted time frame after accepting the seat in order to complete the admissions process. The necessary paperwork should be with them, and any outstanding fees should be paid (if necessary)
