Candidates qualified in HSE of The Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology are eligible for this course.

Applicants who passed HSE of The Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination can apply for this course.

  • First preference will be given to those applicants who have scored more marks in the concerned optional subject.

The application form will be available on the university’s official website. Given below is the step-by-step procedure of online application that every candidate has to follow for UG, PG, and other courses:-

Step 1: Visit the University’s official website https://admission.uoc.ac.in. Click on the registration link provided and create a CAP ID by clicking on the ‘New User (Create CAP ID)’. It will require basic information to create the ID.

Step 2: A CAP ID and password will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Step 3: By using the given CAP ID and password log in to your account and fill up the application form by providing all the required information.

At the undergraduate level, Calicut University offers a variety of programmes in the fields of arts, science, engineering, law, and management, among others. Undergraduate programmes last for three to four years. The prerequisite for all UG programmes is completion of the 10+2 from an approved educational board. Calicut University UG Admission 2025: Selection Process

The procedure of Calicut University Admission for UG programs includes a stringent selection process. Candidates have to undergo some course-related entrance exams conducted by the university. Merit comes first in terms of the selection process. The merit list is strictly released only on the official website of the university and not in any printout forms.

Calicut University UG Admission 2025: Allotment Process

As per this year’s University regulations, there shall be three major allotments for all categories of students and two special allotments for SC/ST categories. On the receipt of an allotment to a chosen option, all the options below the received allotment will be permanently lost. The options lost will not be reinstated in any circumstance.

Trial Allotment

After the last date for online registration passes, a trial allotment will be published on a given date. Once the trial allotment is open, the candidates can edit their application if necessary. Those candidates who have edited their application should take printout of the modified application well in advance before the last date for modification.

First Allotment

The first allotment list will be published as per the stipulated date. Every candidate who has received an allotment is expected to remit the mandatory fee to claim the allotment. Otherwise, they shall lose the allotment received and will not be considered for further allotments.

Candidates satisfied with their allotment are to cancel all other higher options. In case cancel, the candidate(s) will be considered for higher options and will be bound to relinquish the previous allotment . They must take admission to the allotment received as per their higher options.

Second Allotment

Once the second allotment is published, all the candidates who have received an allotment for the first time should remit a mandatory fee to claim their allotment. Candidates who had already remitted the fee need not pay again. As mentioned above, those who default the payment will lose allotment received and will not be considered for further allotments.

Consequently, once allotment has been satisfactorily accepted, candidates must cancel all higher options to avoid relinquishment of previous allotments.

All those candidates who received first and second allotment should take permanent or temporary admission in the respective colleges. The candidates satisfied with the first or second allotment shall cancel all their higher options and take permanent admission. All other candidates waiting for higher options shall take temporary admission without canceling their higher options.

Candidates failing to take admission after second allotment on a temporary or permanent basis will be removed from the further admission process.

Third Allotment

After the third allotment has been released,candidates receiving an allotment for the first time must remit the mandatory fee. As mentioned above, those who default the payment will lose allotment received and will not be considered for further allotments after this.

Every candidate who received an allotment should take permanent basis in the respective colleges. The candidates received allotment to their first option, and candidates satisfied with the allotment received during first, second and third allotment shall cancel all their higher options and take

Those who applied for temporary admission in the second allotment and did not receive any change in the third allotment also should change their temporary admission to permanent, retaining their higher options.

Candidates satisfied with their allotment (including first option) should cancel higher options to avoid losing current allotments.

The candidates who have received allotment but, not satisfied with the allotment received during first ,second and third allotment, shall take permanent admission retaining their higher options.

Vacancies arising after the third allotment will be filled by the University through special/supplementary allotments or by providing applied students list to the colleges.

Only candidates with permanent admission retaining higher options, or those not allotted yet, will be considered for future allotments.

Hence, the candidates who have received allotment and willing to be considered for the admission through special/supplementary allotments after third allotment should take permanent admission retaining their higher options.

Special Allotment

Vacancy positions in SC/ST seats belonging to the mentioned category can submit fresh options as per the published vacancies . Such candidates will be considered for allotment to their fresh options and the rest will be considered for their options already submitted before the last date of online registration.

Candidates receiving an allotment for the first time must remit the mandatory fee to claim their allotment. Those who paid in previous allotments need not pay again.The who default in remitting the mandatory fee and take admission will lose the special allotment and will not be considered for further admissions.

Note: Admit Card will be made available to all those who have received an allotment and intend to take permanent admission.

Braja Mohan Thakur Law College does offer LLB which is a three-year UG course. The admission process for 2024 is yet to start. If you are interested in Braja Mohan Thakur Law College admission to LLB then you need to fill out the online application form which will be released in April 2024 (tentative).
