Can a PCB Student give IIT JAM 2025? The answer is yes, a student form PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) can take IIT JAM 2025. However, they have to fulfill the eligibility criteria and courses available to them. 
Can a PCB Student Give IIT JAM 2025?

Yes, candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) backgrounds in intermediate can take the I IT JAM 2025 exam. However, they have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the IIT JAM exam as it is a national-level exam that IIT conducts to enroll candidates for MSc and PhD programmes in IIT, IISc Bangalore, and other score-accepting colleges.

IIT JAM 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 2025 Currently, IIT Delhi has activated the application correction window for students, which will remain open till November 18, 2024 . Candidates were able to submit the online application form for the exam from September 3, 2024, to October 18, 2024, on the official website -jam 2025.iitd.ac.in .

Joint MSc-PhD in Molecular Medical Microbiology

BSc/BS degree (three years/six semesters) with Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, Life Science, Physiology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, and molecular biology as Honours/Major/Main Subject, and any one of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics as one of the compulsory subsidiary subjects for at least one year/two semesters

IIT JAM Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates from PCB backgrounds who are going to appear for the JAM 2025 exam must check the exam pattern. The IIT JAM 2025 exam pattern has been provided below in the table:

  • Every test paper has been divided into three sections- Section A, Section B, and Section C
  • All the sections are compulsory
  • A total of 60 questions will be asked in each papers
    • Section A: 30 MCQs
    • Section B: 10 MSQs
    • Section C: 20 NAT (Numerical Ability Type)
