Central University of Tamil Nadu UG Admission 2025 through CUET has commenced after the CUET Result 2025. CUTN Registration 2025 has started on July 17, 2025. Students can fill the application form until July 28, 2025. Students who passed the entrance exam must apply for Central University of Tamil Nadu UG Admission 2025.  We have provided a direct link to apply for Central University of Tamil Nadu Undergraduate Admission 2025. The CUTN merit list for UG Admission will be released followed by the registration on the official website.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu offers 3 courses of UG and 7 integrated courses. The CUTN offers various UG courses through CUET UG 2025 like B.Sc. in Textiles, B.Sc. in Technical Textiles, BBA in Textile Business Analytics, and Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics, Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry, Integrated M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. in Mathematics, Integrated M.Sc. in Physics, Integrated M.A.

The Central University of Tamil Nadu was established by the Government of India alongside eight other Central Universities. The University has established 12 Schools, with 27 Departments working to make higher education accessible to Students from the weaker sections of society. The Central University of Tamil Nadu began with eight students pursuing M.A. English Studies. It has been enriching the knowledge of many young students since its inception. The Varsity is located in Thiruvarur, 60 kilometers east of Thanjavur. Currently, the University offers 62 academic programmes, including undergraduate, graduate, integrated, and research programmes. In collaboration with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management, the Central University of Tamil Nadu offers undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. The varsity also offers around 20 courses through the Community College.

Application Process of Central University of Tamil Nadu CUET UG Admission 2025

Students can check the following steps to apply for CUTN CUET Admission 2025

Step 1: The Students need to visit the official website at cutncuet.samarth.edu.in. The  application form for CUTN CUET Admissions will be available only on CUET’s official admissions portal and not on the official website of the university. So, the Students have to visit the cuet official website and fill the application form.

Step 2: Then, the Students need to click on “New Registration” link and log in to the portal by entering their  CUET Application Number and Date of Birth.

Step 3: Enter all ‘Personal Details’ and all requisite details asked in the form. Fill in all details very carefully and go through them twice to avoid any mistake. Remember, once the Students lock the details they cannot edit it again. So, now click on the ‘Confirm and Lock’ link.

Step 4: After That, upload all the documents required by them like - recent passport photograph, signature, CUET UG 2025 score card and admit card. The specification of the documents is 10 to 500 KB and the image and signature  should be in  jpg/jpeg format whereas the scorecard and admit card should be in  jpg/jpeg/pdf format.

Step 5: Further, the candidate needs to select the course they wish to enroll for and fill out the academic details.

Step 6: Now the aStudents have to  again upload the photograph and signature, along with class 10th/12th mark sheets and other certificates if applicable such as caste, income, disability certificates,etc. The specification will be the same as mentioned above.

Step 7: There is no fee for the registration process for CUTN and finally the candidate needs to  submit the application and take a printout for the future reference at the time of admission.

Central University of Tamil Nadu UG Admission 2025 Admission Process

The Central University of Tamil Nadu CUET 2025 admission process began after the results of CUET 2025 were announced. Only the qualified student of CUET 2025 will be eligible for the next round of the admission process. Students, who will fill in the application form for the Central University of Tamil Nadu and will qualify in the entrance examination can fill out the admission form.

After the admission form filling process, the Central University of Tamil Nadu will be releasing the rank list cum merit list on its official website. Students, whose names reflect in the Rank cum merit list, will automatically become eligible for the next round of admission which is precisely a counselling process. NTA is responsible till the result is CUET UG announced, after that each participating university of CUET will have its own structure of admission process. Students will be called for the counselling process, which they must attend with all the original documents on the mentioned dates. As the counselling process ends, students must pay the fee and attend regular classes in the University.

  • Students must have qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent examination with science stream from a recognized board in India.
  • Students who have completed Textile subjects in the Vocational stream are also eligible.
  • General category Students must have 50% of marks in aggregate.
  • OBC, NCL, SC, ST, and PWD Students should have 45% of marks in aggregate.

B.Sc. Technical Textiles

  • Students must have qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent examination with science stream from a recognized board in India.
  • Students who have completed Textile subjects in the Vocational stream are also eligible.
  • General category Students must have 50% of marks in aggregate.
  • OBC, NCL, SC, ST,and PWD Students should have 45% of marks in aggregate.

BBA Textile Business Analytics

  • Students seeking admission in this course should be qualified in Plus Two examination in any discipline.
  • Students, who belong to the General Category, must secure 50% of marks in the aggregate.
  • The reserved category of students should obtain 45% of marks in aggregate.

Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics

  • Should be qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board in India.
  • Must have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Students of the General category must have 60% of the marks.
  • The required percentage for the OBC category of students is 55% of marks whereas SC, ST, and PWD category students should have 50%.

Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry

  • Must be qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board in India.
  • Should have studied Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Biology, Botany, Zoology, or Biotechnology.
  • Students of the General category must have 60% of the marks.
  • The required percentage for the OBC category of students is 55% of marks whereas SC, ST, and PWD category students should have 50%.

Integrated M.Sc. in Biotechnology

  • Should be qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board in India.
  • Must have studied Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Students of the General category must have 60% of the marks.
  • The required percentage for the OBC category of students is 55% of marks whereas SC,ST and PWD category students should have 50%.

Integrated B.Sc & B.Ed. in Mathematics

  • Students seeking admission in B.Sc.& B.Ed. Should be qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board in India.
  • Students must have studied Mathematics / Statistics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Students of the General category must have 60% of the marks.
  • The required percentage for the OBC category of students is 55% of marks whereas SC, ST, and PWD category students should have 50%.
  • The Students should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01.07.2025.
  • Students who are appearing in March 2025 qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

Integrated M.Sc. in Physics

  • Must be qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board in India.
  • Should have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
  • Students of the General category must have 60% of the marks.
  • The required percentage for the OBC category of students is 55% of marks whereas SC, ST, and PWD category students should have 50%.

Integrated M.A. in Economics

  • Should be qualified in Plus Two examination or equivalent exam from any recognized board in India.
  • Must have studied Economics or Mathematics or Statistics in Higher Secondary level.
  • Students of the General category must have 60% of the marks.
  • The required percentage for the OBC category of students is 55% of marks whereas SC, ST, and PWD category students should have 50%.

Integrated M.P.A

  • Students must have qualified in Plus two examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • General Category students must have secured 50% of marks in aggregate.
  • The reserved category of students like OBC, SC, ST, and PWD should have obtained 45% of marks in aggregate.
