Cluster University, Srinagar was established in the year 2016 as a step to decongest state universities which are overburdened with hundreds of affiliated colleges. The university has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is a public university situated in the beautiful city of Srinagar.

It is important for students to check the NIRF ranking for a university before taking a final decision to consider a university for admission. Cluster University has no mention in the NIRF rankings or any other popular ranking so far, as a result of which one cannot get keen insights into the quality of education it imparts. However, one possible reason for the same could be the fact that the university has not been in existence for long enough and is still working on its recognitions.
Cluster University Academia & Batch
The syllabus for each course of Cluster University has been prepared as per the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines. Each programme is divided into semesters with each semester having a credit-based system. The exams are conducted in the middle and end of the semester. Regular class assessments and dissertation is also conducted for which marks are added to the total score. Based on the total score of candidates in the exam, a final grade is provided. Students who fail to obtain passing marks in any subject also have the option to apply for a re-evaluation process. The curriculum of Cluster University also consists of mandatory internships for every programme in its 3rd semester.

Even though the curriculum of Cluster University seems smartly designed to suit the needs of the students as well as to make them ready for employment, the question that still remains unanswered is if the university really follows it.
Cluster University Internships & Placements
Cluster University released no report for its campus placement. This shows that the university does not believe in boasting about its placement. However, the university does not even participate in the NIRF ranking which means there is no clarity on the placement it provides. As per the reviews shared by students on Quora, there are no placements provided by Cluster University. The students with good performance in academics are provided admission to Jammu University but no companies visit Cluster University for placements.
