CSAB Round 2 Cutoff: Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) releases the CSAB round 2 cutoff for various programmes on its official website at csab.nic.in. The round 2 CSAB cutoff has been released by the authorities in the form of opening rank and closing rank. Based on JEE Main results, the Central Seat Allocation Board will assign seats to participating institutes IIITs, NITs and GFTIs. Nonetheless, seats will be allotted to registered candidates by the exam authorities based on their JEE Main merit, preferences of courses and seat availability at their preferred college. CSAB 2024 Seat Allotment
Candidates must adhere to the guidelines in order to comprehend the CSAB 2024 seat allocation process. Prior to the deadline, they must register and complete the reregistration procedure.
Registration: Applicants must visit the official website and log in. To register online, candidates must enter their application number and password from their JEE Main 2024 application.
Filling up the institutes choices: In order to be admitted, candidates must choose which colleges or institutes to apply to and which courses to take. The distribution of seats and colleges will be based on rank. Before the deadline, candidates may change their selections as often as necessary. Candidates’ rank in the Common Rank List i.e. CRL rank will be used in CSAB 2024 Special Round. This will not affect the reserved category seats since Category Quota seats are allotted to candidates of that category only. Thus, seat allotment is the same except the fact that CRL ranks are used in the CSAB 2024 Counselling.
Yes. Candidates can participate in the CSAB special round 2024 special round if they withdraw their allotted seat from JoSAA.
Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%. Candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.
As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification, all the candidates who are eligible for JoSAA NIT system as per their JEE Main 2024 ranks are eligible for participating in the CSAB 2024 special round counselling.
A candidate who surrenders the allotted seat in CSAB 2024 Special Round 1 and participates in the Round 2, and does not get any seat in Round 2, will be refunded all the fees paid to JoSAA and CSAB after deducting Rs. 6,000.
