CSAS 2025: DU Admission cum Counselling Process through CUET UG

CSAS 2025 DU admission process using CUET 2025 will commence shortly as the CUET UG 2025 results are released. Candidates for DU admission 2025 through CUET must have applied through the University of Delhi's Common Seat Allocation System UG (CSAS UG) at ugadmission.uod.in. The subjects covered in Class XII must be in accordance with those covered in the CUET-2025 Phase I & II examinations. Only candidates who have cleared the Class XII board exam will be considered for the CUET Papers. For information about subject similarities, candidates should reference the Bulletin of Information. The candidate will be responsible for providing correct subject mapping. In this scenario, the university's decision is final and binding.

What is CSAS 2025?

CSAS stands for Common Seat Allocation System, and the DU Admission portal is divided into three phases: applying to CSAS 2025, selecting programmes, and seat allocation. The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS 2025) offers admission to Delhi University through CUET UG 2025. DU aspirants who took the Common University Entrance Test must participate in CSAS. CSAS for DU admissions consists of three phases. The application process consists of three phases: submitting the form, selecting programmes, and filling out preferences. The final round involves seat allocation and admission.

Candidates who want to secure a seat at Delhi University would need to participate in all three aforementioned phases. Students will have to pay the CSAS-2025 application fee or else they will not be considered for DU admissions. DU will allot UG seats based on a merit list prepared using CUET 2025 ranks and scores. CSAS 2025 Phases for DU Admission cum Counselling Process

CSAS DU admission 2025 or counselling process have been explained in detail below:

Phase 1: Application Form Submission

  • After visiting the CSAS portal, candidates need to register themselves on the website.
  • After registering for DU admissions or counselling, students must pay the CSAS 2025 application fee. It is a one-time and non-refundable payment.
  • Students who want to apply under any of the extracurricular activities (ECA) or/ and the sports supernumerary quota will have to pay an additional admission fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Programs and Filling Preferences

  • The second phase 2 will commence after the CUET 2025 Result Declaration.
  • In this step, aspirants have to opt for programmes where they want admission.
  • Students are also required to confirm the course-specific CUET UG merit score.

Phase 3: Seat Allotment and Admission

  • Delhi University will offer admission seats as per the merit list prepared considering the CUET 2025 score and rank.

What Happens After DU 2025 Seat Allocation?

Once DU seats have been allocated to candidates, they would need to “accept” it within a prescribed deadline. The chance to accept the seat will only be valid in the round in which students have been provided or are eligible for a seat. After the candidates have accepted the provisional seat allocation, the varsity will verify the eligibility and documents of the candidates. Once the approval is granted, the candidates would be required to pay a fee to secure their respective seats and confirm CSAS DU admission. Aspirants must remember that the provisional seat allotment of an individual can be cancelled under one of the following conditions:

  • If a candidate has not “accepted” the seat allotment within the prescribed deadline.

  • If a candidate has failed to reply to a query raised by the university/ college.

  • If an individual has failed to pay the mentioned fee on time.

  • If the candidate does not meet the minimum eligibility criteria declared by Delhi University.

  • If an aspirant has uploaded or provided fraudulent or invalid documents.

    Important Instructions for DU Admission cum Counselling Process

    • Candidates who have applied for DU admissions via sports quota will be provided with a 50% weightage for CUET, and a 50% weightage for the performance-based test.
    • If two or more students have the same CUET merit score, the aspirant with a higher/ better percentage of aggregate marks will be offered preference. The aggregate will be of the three subjects of Class 12th. If the score is still tied, the one who is older will be given preference.
    • If an individual wish to withdraw their DU admission, he/she will be charged Rs. 1,000.
    • Once the spot admission round is announced, no option to withdraw candidature will be provided.
