Delhi University B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022

Below are the eligibility requirements for BBE courses offered by Delhi University and its affiliated colleges. Candidates who meet the DU's eligibility conditions below can apply for BBE admissions 2022:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 from CBSE or any other recognised board.

• Candidates should have secured an aggregate of at least 60% marks in 10+2 class examination.

• Candidates from the SC, ST, CW, and PC groups will have to secure at least 55% marks in four subjects, including English and Mathematics.
• The other two subjects are to be chosen from the following list: Accountancy, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Geography, History, Philosophy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.

• Candidates seeking admission to the B.A. (Honours) Business Economics course shall provide confirmed results of the qualifying examination and the marks obtained within one week before one week of the Joint Admission Test

• Candidates who have a compartment in a given year shall not be considered for admission in that year.

• All foreign student admissions are channeled through the University of Delhi Foreign Students Registry (FSR) office.

Delhi University B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics Application Process 2022

Delhi University offers t UG admissions through CUET from the academic session 2022-23. The National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET 2022 exam for admission to UG Courses on behalf of the central universities, state universities deemed to be universities, and private universities. Therefore, the universities are following the UG admission application process prescribed by NTA. Described below is the application process for Delhi University  UG Admission 2022 through CUET:  Follow the steps given below to fill the BBE application process:

Step 1: Visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in to perform the CUET 2022 registration.

Step 2: Click on the Register button. Provide the personal details and other information and move on to the next stage.

Step 3: Now create a password with at least 8-13 characters, 1 upper case alphabet, 1 lower case alphabet, 1 numeric value, and 1 special character. Select a security question to answer and then submit.

Step 4: The system will now generate an application number which must be stored for future login.

Step 5: Next login with the application number and password.

Step 6: Fill up the CUET 2022 application form . Provide your personal details, address information, and academic qualifications, choose test papers, select examination cities, courses, and universities.

Step 7: Now move on to the uploading section. Upload passport size scanned photograph, scanned signature, scanned copy of category certificate (if required), and other required documents according to the NTA instructed size.

Step 8: Check all the details provided in the application form. Make sure all the documents uploaded and all the details provided are valid.

Step 9. Next, pay CUET 2022 application fees through credit card/ debit card/ other net banking options. Ensure that the account you will use for the payment has the necessary amount of balance. The fees once deducted cannot be refunded. Keep the transaction information for future reference.

Step 10: A confirmation page will appear on the screen. It must be taken as a printout form to use in the future.

Note: According to the university guidelines, the candidates applying for Delhi University UG Admission 2022 through CUET must ensure that they have included the correct code for Delhi University and the courses offered by the university. Delhi University B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics Admission Process 2022

The Admission to B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics (BBE) will be done based on CUET and the counselling process followed by Delhi University.

Written Entrance Test (CUET):-

Delhi University accepts CUET scores for all courses of Under Graduation along with - B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics (BBE) , Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) , and Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis (BFIA). Candidates will be called to take the Common University Entrance Test and a merit list will be prepared based on their CUET score.

The written exam is structured to assess candidates' aptitude for pursuing B.A. (Honours) Business Economics, BBS, and BFIA. Provided below is the CUET syllabus and CUET exam pattern:

Each right answer gets a score of 5 marks, each wrong answer gets a score of minus 1 mark and a question not answered gets 0 marks. Marking several answers for one question will be considered as incorrect answers.

Counselling Process: After CUET Exam, results will be declared, then the DU conducts counselling for the qualified candidates of the entrance examination. To attend the counselling process, candidates must fill in the admission form of the Delhi University. The registration process of the admission form should be completed before the scheduled last date.

Final selection:-

The final selection of all candidates shall be based on the score determined by the candidate's performance in the Class 12th examination and their performance in the CUET. The merit list of CUET shall be released by Delhi University.

Delhi University B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics Counselling Process 2022

After CUET 2022 Results Delhi University conducts the counselling process. At the time of the counselling, the candidates shall be assigned to the respective colleges according to their merit and their order of choice. To secure the admission, candidates are expected to deposit the fees along with their documents at the allotted college within the stipulated time, otherwise, the candidate's admission will be cancelled.

A change of college would be permitted for eligible candidates at the second and third counselling, subject to seat availability. To take admission to any preferred college, the candidate must deposit fees and fulfil the remaining formalities of admission at the designated college within the allotted time.

In case the candidate is unable to be present on the day of counselling, the candidate's approved representative may exercise college preference and meet other criteria for admission. An application signed by the candidate for this purpose should be sent to the admission committee.
