The Council of Architecture (CoA) has released the NATA Eligibility Criteria 2024 for those candidates who wish to appear for the NATA 2024 examination. NATA 2024 eligibility criteria comprise a set of guidelines that candidates must meet to be considered for admission. Candidates are advised to check the NATA eligibility criteria 2024 before filling out the application form for NATA 2024. NATA Eligibility Criteria 2024
The Council of Architecture (CoA) prescribes the NATA Eligibility Criteria 2024 . The following pointers will exclusively deal with the detailed eligibility criteria of NATA which the candidates must meet to be able to sit in the NATA exam for the session 2024-25:
CoA has not specified any age criteria to apply for the NATA exam
The candidates must have qualified for the 10+2 level qualifying exam with an aggregate of 50% or more in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined at the qualifying level
ORThe candidates should have qualified 10+ 3 Diploma with Mathematics as subject
Applicants who are taking the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as topics of study or the 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics this year may also apply provisionally for NATA 2024.
NOTE- No applicant will be accepted to the architecture program unless he has completed an examination at the end of the 10+2 level of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as at least 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level examination, or has passed a 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.

NATA Application Form Dates 2024
The Council of Architecture has released the application form for NATA 2024 on March 1, 2024 . The NATA Application Form 2024 can be filled out till April 2024 as per the previous year's trends. Candidates who complete the NATA 2024 application process before the deadline will be issued the NATA Admit Card 2024. Many BArch admissions at the state level will also be based on the NATA 2024 score.

Note: The candidates must not think that they will be allocated a seat in one of the Architecture institutions if they qualify for the NATA exam. Allocation of seats or final admission will solely depend on the candidates’ fulfilment of eligibility conditions and criteria prescribed by the competent authorities.
Who is Eligible to Join in the First Year of 5-year BArch Programme?
Only those aspirants fulfilling the below conditions will be eligible to join the first year of the 5-year BArch program in one of the Architecture institutions:
To get admission to an Architecture course, the candidates should pass the 10+2 scheme of examination by at least 50%
The candidates should get at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
No direct lateral admission is permissible at any year/stage/semester of the BArch course
Note: Note: The aggregate marks should be in the 10+2 level examination or 10+2 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks. Architecture aspirants must know that only by qualifying NATA exam they will be able to secure a seat in one of the Architecture institutions in the country. Any request regarding direct or lateral entry at any year or stage of the B.Arch programme will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Reservation Under Different Categories
Relaxation in qualifying marks for the reserved category candidates is a prerogative of the admission or Counselling authority. The concerned authorities do not fall under the purview.

NATA 2024: Number of Attempts
The Council of Architecture has set 4 attempts for the NATA 2024 examination. Earlier, candidates were allowed to appear for the NATA examination 2024 up to 3 times. After that, the authorities considered the average of 2 best scores. Whereas, in the case of 2 attempts, NATA considered the best score out of 2 attempts. The aptitude test of NATA comprises Multiple choice questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Type (MSQ), Preferential Choice Type (PCQ), Numerical Answer Type (NAQ) and Match the following type (MFQ)

The questions will be asked for 1 mark, 2 marks, or 3 marks
Total marks: 200 marks
