AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2024 Web Options: DTE, Andhra Pradesh will conduct the AP EAMCET 2024 option entry process for the qualified candidates from July 24 to 26, 2024. The choice-filling process is an important stage of AP EAMCET 2024 counselling. Before proceeding with the online web options, the candidates could download the manual option entry form. This gives a better understanding of which college to choose along with college codes and course codes. Here are some of the do’s and don’ts that the candidates need to take into consideration with regard to web options.

Do’s of AP EAMCET 2024 Web Options

Here are some of the important aspects that the candidates need to consider before filling out the web options for AP EAPCET 2024 –

  • Firstly, download and take a printout of the manual option form , and open college codes and course codes on your mobile/ laptop or desktop. Fill out the manual option form with the list of colleges and courses that you are interested in joining.

  • Check the AP EAMCET cutoff and tally whether your rank is suitable for admission to colleges that you selected as the first five options. Mark a priority number 1, 2, 3, 4 against each college & course.

  • Once you are confident with the college options, start filling out the web options on the official website of AP EAMCET counselling 2024.

  • As there is no limit on the number of colleges that a candidate can choose in web options, it is advisable to fill in as many options as possible.

  • Under one college, you can select multiple courses. However, you will need to give a priority number. For example, if Aditya Engineering College offers 5 specializations in B.Tech, you can choose this college five times which means you will mark a priority number for the course (Example -CSE – Priority 1, ECE – Priority 2 etc.).

  • Once you are done with filling in the college options, you can ‘ Save ’ the options so that you can edit them before the last date if required.

  • Select those colleges in top priority that suit your location preference

  • Whichever college you want to choose, do research about the college on Google. Visit the official website of the college, check for placement statistics and try to get in touch with 2 nd /3 rd /4th-year students of the respective college.

  • Do not share your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth details with anyone

Don’ts of AP EAMCET 2024 Web Options

The candidates should refrain from the following activities while exercising the web options for AP EAPCET (EAMCET) 2024 –

  • Do not fill the web options without having a proper understanding of the last 2-3 years’ closing ranks

  • After filling in the web options on the official website, do not select the ‘Freeze’ option before the last date. If you select the freeze option, the option to edit options will be closed.

  • If you are looking for admission to a college that is located in your region, do not choose from other regions as the first five priorities.

  • Do not decide on college options on your own, and it is important to consult parents, experts and lecturers.
