DTU M.Sc Admission Entrance Exam Result 2021

The Delhi Technological University will release the entrance exam result for M.Sc admission on its official website in the format of a merit list. Candidates, as per their score in the M.Sc admission entrance exam of DTU, will be placed on the merit list in decreasing order of merit. For each M.Sc specialization, the university will release a separate merit list on its official website. The candidates can either check their scores or merit position from the official website of the university or from the link given on this page. DTU M.Sc Entrance Exam Merit List (Tie Breaker Policy)

The university has an efficient tie-breaker policy for multiple candidates securing the same marks in the DTU M.Sc admission entrance exam. To resolve the tie of candidates securing the same marks in the entrance exam, the following steps will be employed in the stated order of preference -

  1. Candidates who are older will be given preference

  • The admission committee will verify all the documents submitted by the candidates and their fee payment slips to take a final decision regarding the allocation of seats in their desired M.Sc specializations

  • For the vacant seats, the admission committee will carry out the second round admission process and spot round admission process respectively

DTU M.Sc Admission Spot Counselling Round 2022

The Delhi Technological University conducts a spot counselling round or spot admission round for the eligible shortlisted candidates who have failed to secure a seat in the previous two admission rounds. The university conducts the spot counselling round based on the availability of seats in the M.Sc specializations offered by it. The spot counselling round is conducted in offline mode and the candidates have to submit their admission fee via a demand draft (DD) to the concerned department official of the university. Candidates allocated seats through the spot admission process cannot withdraw their admission. Even if they withdraw their admission, their entire admission fee is confiscated.

The candidates must submit the following documents during the final stages of the DTU M.Sc admission process. The candidates must submit the original copy as well as a self-attested copy of the following documents -

  • Class Xth certificate or Date of birth proof

  • Qualifying exam certificates and marksheets

  • Category certificate (SC/ST/PwD etc) issued by the approved district authority

  • Recent passport-sized photographs (2 x Nos)
