Some guidelines for students from other boards have been discussed in this section. Students from other boards imply education boards other than the Maharashtra State Board i.e., CBSE, CISCE/ICSE, CAIE/IGCSE, IB, NIOS and Boards of other States or other countries. The following are some of the important guidelines that candidates should bear in mind when filling out the FYJC application 2024:

  • Students of other boards who want to get admitted to a Junior College affiliated with Maharashtra State Board within any online admission area should fill online form and participate in this admission process.

  • The students have to fill out their application form on the portal by themselves and get it verified from the nearest Guidance Centre. They can select their preferred guidance centre.
  • If the results of the Class 10th students are in grade form, get it converted into marks. Conversion facility for CBSE, ICSE and IGCSE is provided on the portal itself. Others should make the conversion themselves as per the criteria of the board given on their marksheet.
  • Manual conversion is required to be verified by the Secondary School or any authorised guidance centre.
  • These students can participate in this admission process with their provisional marksheet. However, they need to submit the original copy of the marksheet while confirming their admission to the respective Junior College.
  • Students who passed from any of the unauthorised/ unrecognised boards are not eligible for FYJC admission.
