Goa ITI Admission

The Goa ITI admission 2025 notification for the academic year 2025-26 is expected to be released in May 2025 on the official website by the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

The Goa ITI Admissions are based on merit, with no entrance exam required. The Goa ITI application form will be available from May 27 to June 30, 2025, on the official website. Students who have completed Class 8 or Class 10 and are at least 14 years old can apply.

Students who submit their forms can check the ITI Admission Goa 2025 merit list. The Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will release two rounds of seat allotment lists. Students can select 3 preferred Goa ITIs, and final allotment will be made by the Directorate.

Goa has 13 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) that operate under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) and the Center of Excellence Scheme (CoE). They aim to train skilled workers for the public and private sectors. These ITIs offer 42 trades, including both engineering and non-engineering options, helping to enhance job opportunities for the youth.

Goa ITI Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for Goa ITI admission 2025 are different for each trade. The general eligibility criteria for the Goa ITI 2025 admission are given below:

  • The student must have passed Class 10th or equivalent
  • He/ She must have studied Science and Maths subjects in the qualifying examination.
  • For admission in the welder trade course, garment and sales assistant, students who pass Class VIII are also considered for admission.
  • The minimum age of the student should be 14 years to fill the Goa ITI application form.
  • The student must be a resident of Goa for at least 10 years.
  • Those who have passed Class 10th from the National Open School without studying Maths and Science are not eligible for admission.

Goa ITI 2025 Admission Process

Centralised Admission Procedure: Admissions for ITI courses in Goa follow a centralised process for both government and private institutes.

Goa ITI Merit List: A merit list is compiled based on Class X or Class VIII marks of applicants. The Central Admission Committee oversees this process.

  • Goa ITI Provisional and Final Merit Lists:  Initially, a provisional merit list is released, allowing students three days to raise objections. After considering these objections, a final merit list is published on the official website.

Goa ITI Seat Allotment: Students on the final merit list must visit a designated venue for seat allotment based on their ranking.

Goa ITI Application Form 2025

The Goa ITI 2025 admission application form is accepted in online mode. The procedure to fill in the application and submit the Goa ITI application form is explained in the following steps:

Step 1 - Online Goa ITI Admission 2025 Form Filling

The students can click on the link below to fill out the online application form for Goa Polytechnic admission.

Step 2 - Upload Documents

Along with the application form, the student must attach certain documents, which are listed below:

  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Self-attested copy of mark sheet and passing certificate of the qualifying examination.
  • Leaving Certificate from the School/ Institute/ College which was last attended by the student.
  • Those who are unable to produce leaving certificates can produce a transfer certificate / bonafide certificate issued by the School/ Institute/ College.
  • Birth Certificate from the authorised Registrar.
  • A certificate to prove the continuous period of residence of goa for the last 10 years from the Mamlatdar having jurisdiction over the area of residence.
  • Certificate issued by the Head of the Office or Department for children of employees of the Central/State Government or Government of India Undertakings (if applicable)
  • A certificate from the Competent Authority for children of Ex-Servicemen/Defence Personnel (if applicable).
  • A certificate from the Home Department of the Government of Goa for children of Freedom Fighters (if applicable).
  • SC/ ST/ OBC certificate, if applicable.
  • Income certificate of students having annual family income less than Rs 3,00,000/- p.a
  • A certificate from the Dean, Goa Medical College for PH students.

Step 3 - Submit the Goa ITI Application

  • The Goa ITI admission 2025 application form must be submitted in person at the designated ITI centre or sent via registered post to the Principal.
  • Students should collect an acknowledgement card and application number from the ITI centre and keep them for future reference.
  • Incomplete applications, late submissions, or those without self-attested copies of necessary certificates may be rejected.
  • Students need to fill out the application carefully.

ITI Fee for Government Institutes in Goa

Students enrolled in ITI courses must pay the total tuition fees at their institutes. The tuition fees for Goa ITI admission are non-refundable. The fee structure for government ITI institutes in Goa is outlined in the following table:
