GPAT PG Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024

AICTE has outlined specific GPAT PG Scholarship eligibility criteria 2024, which need to be met by all aspirants, prior to applying for the PG pharmacy scholarship. Here are the eligibility criteria for the 2024 GPAT scholarship.

• PG Scholarship through AICTE for GPAT will only be applicable for Master in Pharmacy courses.

• Candidates who have qualified GPAT 2024 and have taken admissions on the basis of GPAT 2024 alone be eligible for the scholarship. In other words, admissions taken to the M.Pharm course before or after the validity period of GPAT will not be eligible for the scholarship.

• Candidates who do not receive any other kind of scholarship or compensation such as salary, stipend, or equivalent, will not be eligible for the scholarship.

• Foreign candidates and those who have taken admission through sponsorship or under management quota are not eligible for the scholarship.

• Candidates admitted to all full-time courses, i.e. excluding all part-time courses, will be eligible for the scholarship.

• Candidates who qualified GPAT 2024 under the OBC reservation category will not be eligible for the scholarship. Those qualified under the SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and Physically Handicapped category without authentic certificates for the same will also not be eligible for the scholarship

Documents Required for GPAT PG Scholarship 2024

For those who have qualified for the GPAT 2024 examination and aspire to avail of the PG scholarship offered by AICTE. In order to be considered for the scholarship, you will be required to present the documents required for GPAT Scholarship 2024. Here is the list of documents to avail of the GPAT 2024 scholarship.

• A scanned copy of your GPAT 2024 scorecard

• A scanned copy of the first page of your bank passbook, which should contain all the details of the beneficiary along with the name of the bank and its IFS Code.

• A Scanned Copy of the candidate’s Aadhar Card

For Reserved category:

• Scanned copy of the respective reserved category.

• OBC-NCL candidates must display a credible OBC non-creamy layer certificate which has been issued less than a year ago.

• SC/St/PwD/OBC (NCL) category candidates must present the documents in support of their categories, which shall be attested by the Institute’s principal or a gazetted officer.

• Reserved category candidates must present the certificates in Hindi or English. Otherwise, they must get the certificate translated by a notary office or by the Institute’s Principal, as mentioned on the Institute letterhead. In cases of translation, the original and the translated documents need to be uploaded.

• Other Documents that are to be submitted, must be self-attested by the candidates seeking the scholarship.

GPAT Scholarship 2024: Terms and Conditions

There are certain terms and conditions that apply to the GPAT scholarship scheme, failing which the GPAT Scholarship may be revoked or discontinued. Here are the GPAT 2024 terms and conditions:

• Candidates who qualify GPAT 2024 exam after the admission window is closed will not be considered eligible.

• Any admissions before or after GPAT 2024 score validity will not be considered for granting a GPAT scholarship.

• The scholarship will be apportioned for a maximum duration of 24 months or till completion of the program or till the date of submission of the thesis.

• The required documents have to be self-attested by the candidates applying for the scholarships.

• PG Scholarship is not valid for passed students taking admissions for the second time on the basis of clearing the GPAT exam again.

• The scholarship may be revoked at any point in time in case there has been some kind of misconduct on part of the student holding the scholarship.

• Having a valid Aadhar number is necessary in order to apply for a PG scholarship.

• Only visible clear attachments will be permitted.

• Foreign applicants sponsored students, and candidates permitted to PG programs by way of management quota will not be considered for the Scholarship.

• The GPAT Scholarship amount will be disbursed to the candidate at a monthly rate based on satisfactory academic performance and compliance with the university rules.

• The candidate must not be receiving any other scholarship, emoluments, grant, stipend, or salary of any kind from any other contributor during the span of their course.

• The candidates will be required to submit an agreement, specifying that they will not quit the course before its official completion. If they happen to do so, they will be required to repay the complete scholarship amount drawn before discontinuing the course.

• The students selected for the GPAT 2024 scholarship will be asked to take 8-10 hours each week of work including laboratory sessions, development, and maintenance of laboratories, tutorials, assistance in research and development programs, maintenance and operation of computer system and other central operations, providing help in the library, etc.

• Candidates will be required to submit the details of a functioning bank account that is registered in the name of the candidate. Details of joint bank accounts will not be permitted.

• OBC applicants who qualified as per the OBC category criteria are not allowed to apply.

• Those applicants who have qualified under SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped category criteria not having a certificate to support are also not eligible for the scholarship.

GPAT PG Scholarship 2024 Application Process

To avail the scholarship scheme, you must complete the GPAT PG Scholarship 2024 application process. The application process begins with the following steps:

• Candidates are required to fill in all the details on the Student Portal at the institute’s website, such as GPAT score, personal as well as bank details and much more.

• Once the details have been added to the courses, the candidates will be able to add their details to the student portal. However, they will not be allowed to edit or delete information that has been added previously. At this stage, the status will be kept at Verification Awaited by Institute.

• Once the Institute verifies the data entered by the students, students will be able to check the attendance, as mandated for the PG scholarship for GPAT 2024.

• The Institute will once again verify any new data that has been entered or added to the student information.

Once all the data has been verified, the applications will go through the necessary shortlisting processes, which will further lead to the approval for the grant of PG Scholarship scheme for GPAT 2024 qualified candidates.

GPAT 2024 PG Scholarship General Guidelines and Information

Duration of the GPAT PG Scholarship Scheme 2024

The GPAT qualified candidates who have applied for the GPAT PG scholarship scheme 2024 will be able to avail the scholarship for a duration of 24 months. AICTE outlines that the scholarship will be applicable for the entire duration of the course, as specified by the college for the respective course.

Note:

The duration of the PG scholarship 2024 for GPAT qualified candidates will, under no circumstances, be extended beyond the official duration of the course, i.e. from the commencement date of classes to the date of conclusion of the classes or 24 months, whichever is lower.

Rate of GPAT PG Scholarship 2024

Once you have been selected for the scholarship, the rate of GPAT PG scholarship 2024, which has been outlined by AICTE dictates that you will be eligible for a scholarship of ₹12,400 every month for the entire specified duration of the course.

Note:

The rates of PG scholarship 2024 for GPAT will be specified by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and is also subject to change as per requirement from time to time. An official notification regarding the same will be released by the Ministry.

Student Undertaking for GPAT PG Scholarship 2024

Every student who gets selected for the scholarship must submit a student undertaking for GPAT PG scholarship 2024. The undertaking should be made as an assurance that the student will under no circumstance, will leave the course mid-way. Further, those who do leave the course midway will be required to refund the entire amount that had been drawn at the time of dropping the course.

Student Behaviour

Students who have been selected for the GPAT PG Scholarship 2024, must ensure that they are at their best behaviour. Students who are caught for misbehaviour and misdemeanour during their course will have their scholarship discontinued, immediately.

Applicable Leaves Under GPAT PG Scholarship

Candidates are eligible to take a specified number of leaves during the entire duration of the course. Here is a breakdown of the applicable leaves under GPAT PG scholarship 2024.
