• To be eligible for GSEB Class 11 admission, you must have the minimum passing marks of 33% in Class 10 in the basic mathematics subject, excluding any grace marks.
• Also, students who have passed the class 10 exams with Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and English as per the GSHSEB exam pattern will be eligible to take admission to class 11 in the Gujarat Board Schools.
• Students from other boards who wish to secure admission to class 11 in the Gujarat Board Schools need to verify their certificates and submit the required details to the District Education Officer. Then the non-Gujarat Board students will receive an admission eligibility passport which will help them to take admission in class 11 in the state.
• As per the new rules set by GSHSEB for Class 11 science stream admissions, schools must conduct a separate 30-mark standard math test, which will include 15 multiple-choice questions and 15 subjective questions.
• Students must score at least 33 percent on this test to pass a separate standard mathematics test to qualify for admission to Class 11 A or AB groups.
• Moreover, schools are required to arrange personal meetings with students to review their academic performance from Classes 6 to 10.
