• Candidates have to visit the official website of GCAS, gcas.gujgov.edu.in.
• From the official website, candidates have to complete their registration process by entering their name as per their marksheet and date of birth, mobile and email ID. The username and password will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number and email ID.
• Candidates are requested to permanently save the username and password to complete the entire Gujarat University B.Com admission process.
• Once the registration is done, students will have to login using their user ID and password. Students can fill in their choice of colleges during this time.
• Enter all the basic details and click on the save button, again add the personal information, click save and next. After that, add the academic details like the score in your 10th and 12th marksheet, category certificate etc. documents. If there is any discrepancy in your data and the verification of your original documents at the time of admission, it will cancel your right to admission.
• Applicants have to upload their latest photo and signature with a maximum size of 50 KB (JPG/JPEG Format). The marksheet, caste certificate, EWS certificate, etc have to be uploaded with a maximum size of 200 KB.
• B.Com aspirants can fill in their choice of colleges affiliated with Gujarat University from the given list on the GCAS website.
• Candidates should verify all the details, if no changes need to be made, they can press the lock button and give consent to lock their details. No change of preference of colleges and other attributes will be entertained after this round.
• Students need to pay INR 300 online through the payment gateway for the admission process.

• Before submitting the application form, verify the details filled in your application form, as allotment will be based on this data. In case of entering the wrong data, admission will be rejected.
• The students who have selected their preferred college and course must log in with their credentials, select the Gujarat University preference portal and rearrange choices of their preferences of admission based on their merit and category on a prescribed date. (Those who are not rearranging choices as per their preferences, their choices will be considered as per data provided by the GCAS portal for admission allotment).
• The candidate can download only one admission offer letter for the B.Com course wherever he/ she can take the admission and has to go for reporting at the respective college with their original documents as per schedule. If he/ she fails to do so in the timeline, admission will be cancelled at that particular round.
• Next, the applicant has to report to the individual college with original documents and mark sheets, category certificates and other documents as well as copies and the Admission Offer Letter of the offered college.
• Students coming from schools which are not within the state of Gujarat are mandatorily required to obtain a Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from the Gujarat University.
• The colleges under Gujarat University will verify all original documents and mark sheets of the candidates. If all documents and mark sheets are accurate and the details and merit rank have been entered, then students can proceed for admission. However, if the marks in the original marksheet of the student differ from the marks of the Admission Offer Letter or any other discrepancy about the category certificate of the candidate, the college will reject the candidate’s admission. These students can correct their merit marks or category after 2nd round is completed or whenever the GCAS Portal is announced.
• After validation, the college will enter the ID of the student through the college login and then GCAS will send the OTP to the recorded mobile number of the student, the college has to enter that OTP on the GCAS Portal to confirm the admission. Then student has to pay fees at their allotted college and secure admission.
• After the completion of the Gujarat University B.Com 2024 admission, the admission rights in other colleges will be withdrawn. If a student is not offered admission to any college under GU, he/ she may wait till the publication of the next round of the allotment list. Students who have completed their admission process in their selected college, however, cannot take part again in the next admission round.
