How to Apply for Bihar Student Credit Card
The Bihar Student Credit Card application is done online. Students who want to benefit from this scheme should carefully fill out the online application form. Go for the Student Credit Card Bihar apply online by following the steps discussed below:
Go to the Home Page
- Visit the website 7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in to apply for the BSCC scheme.
Create New User Login
- The new candidates have to generate their login credentials (username and password).
- To get the credentials, they have to click on “New Applicant Registration”.
- Enter your details like the First Name as per 10th board, email ID and mobile number.
- After entering the above details, click on the “Send OTP” button.
- You will receive an OTP on your given mobile number and email ID. Enter the OTP and click on the submit button.
- On submission, a ‘successfully registered’ confirmation message will be displayed. The applicant will also receive a confirmation email on their email ID and SMS confirming their login credentials.
- After this, the applicant has to click on the ‘Go to Home Page’ button.
Log In with Credentials
- You can log in to the portal using the credentials provided to them on email ID and SMS and also enter the CAPTCHA code.
- After successfully logging in, you will have to change your password.
- For that, your have to enter the old password, enter a new password and re-enter the new password. Then, click on ‘Submit’.
- After submission of the new password, a successful password change message will be displayed on the screen.
- You will have to login again into the portal using the new password.
Fill in the Application Form
- After a successful login, the candidate will have to enter their personal details.
- Click on Matric/ 10th Board dropdown. The drop-down will list the 10th Standard/ Matric Boards in the State of Bihar. They have to choose from; Bihar School Examination Board, CBSE, ICSE, Bihar State Madarasa Board, Bihar State Sanskrit Board, or Other.
- For those who select “Bihar School Examination Board”, the system will fetch the details of the applicant from the Bihar School Examination Board once they enter their roll number, roll code and year of passing. The data that will be fetched from the board cannot be edited.
- The applicant who selects the “Other” board option has to fill in their board name.
- Provide your Roll Number, School/ Roll Code, Year of Passing and School Name.
- The 12th Standard/ HSC Pass option will appear with Yes and No options.
- If the applicant selects “Yes" then they have to choose one from the following:
- Bihar School Examination Board
- CBSE
- ICSE
- Bihar State Madarasa Board
- Bihar State Sanskrit Board
- Other
- Those who select “Other” have to provide the details of their board.
- Mention your Roll Number/ Index Number, School Code/ Roll Code, Year of Passing and School Name.
- Then enter your first name, middle name, last name, husband/ father’s name and mother’s name.
- Your email ID will be auto-filled.
- Next, select your gender and fill in your DOB, marital status, and category (SC, ST, GEN, OBC, EBC or BC).
- Your mobile number will be auto-filled.
- After that, enter your Aadhaar number, PAN number, Bank name, Bank Account number, Branch name and IFSC code.
- In the “Residential Address” section, the applicant has to select the type of address: a) Urban b) Rural
- If you select Urban, you have to fill in:
- House/ Flat Number
- Building / Apartment Name / Street Name
- Ward No
- District (Districts in the State of Bihar)
- Pin code
- Post Office
- State (States & UT's in India)
- If you select Rural, then enter:
- Village Name
- Post Office
- Ward Number
- District* (Districts in the State of Bihar)
- Pin code
- State
- Enable “Address for Correspondence of Applicant” as Residential Address or Permanent Address.
- Click on Submit.
Enter Co-Applicant Details
If you have a co-applicant, you have to enter their details just like yours, as done above. Some details of the co-applicant have to be provided.

- In the “Employment Details of the Co-applicant” section, enable the check box if not applicable, else enter the Name of the Employer

- In Maintenance Expenditure (City Category), select State from the drop-down.
- Select “City” from the drop-down. If the city is not available, then enter the city in the “Other” field
- System auto-fill “Category” based on the specified city
- Amount of loan applied
- Insurance Premium for the duration of the loan and start-up period
- Total (should tally with the sources) in the text box provided
- Amount of non-repayable Studentship Fellowship, etc, available to the student
- Amount of funds available from family sources for the course in the text box provided.
- Enter the loan amount applied for in the text box provided.
- Enter the Total (should tally with the cost).
- Provide Details of Financial Worth of the Co-Applicant
Provide details below against “Details (Bank, Branch, etc.)”, “Amount (INR)” and “Bank Assessment”
- Saving in Bank (Saving Banks + Fixed Deposits)
- How Long The Account Has Been Maintained
- Immovable
- Current PF Balance (Your Share)
- Investment in NSC/Share/Debentures/Bonds, etc

Submit the Form
- After entering the details, students now have to submit the application form for the Bihar Student Credit Card.
