How to Crack IIT JEE in the First Attempt?

  1. Prepare Study Routine

This is one of the most crucial steps in fulfilling your dream of getting into IITs. The students are advised to prepare a study routine based on their reading and grasping abilities. Also, the timetable should be prepared in a way that it can be followed. It is advisable to divide your study hours into different sections across your day, and each section should not be more than 50 minutes to 1 hour. Taking small breaks in between is necessary. To crack the IIT JEE exam in the first attempt, preparing and sticking to the route is essential.

  1. Prefer Understanding the Subject

When it comes to reading or practicing numerals, ensure that you are getting hold of that information. To crack the IIT JEE exam, understanding and retaining the prepared information is essential. Make sure that even if you are spending 20 minutes reading, you are completely involved in those times. Except for some important formulas that can’t be learned otherwise, never mug up anything.

  1. Practice the Concept Frequently

Students who want to crack IIT JEE on the first attempt are advised to practice already studied concepts frequently. For example: if you have studied Permutation and Combination today, make sure that you practice some of the questions regarding the same again within the same week. Continuous practice ensures that the information stays for a longer duration of time and you can recall itself easily during revisions. Also, remember that constant practice is the key to achieving your goal of cracking the IIT JEE exam. Practice as much as you can from as many sources as possible.

  1. Focus on Time Management

Focusing on time management is one of the important JEE Main 2024 preparation tips. The candidates should prepare a clear-cut JEE Main preparation timetable and must ensure that they stick to it daily. A specific timetable must be followed by the JEE aspirants in 2024 as they have to complete their vast syllabus within a period. For this, the candidates must prepare certain goals. Depending on the difficulty level of the chapter or the topic in the syllabus, a candidate must allocate the time and number of days. Before moving on to the new topic, the candidates must ensure that they finish the previous one. After completing, consistent revision is necessary.

  1. Meditate

While preparing for the IIT JEE exam, at least 30 minutes of your day should be devoted to meditating. Meditation calms down your brain by reactivating your power cells, helps you in concentrating and focus better, and keeps you energized throughout the day. Usually, your day should begin with meditation and mindfulness, but if you choose some other important activity such as Dance, Zumba, Gym, or any other sport, you can plan it accordingly at any time of the day to be healthy.

  1. Recall Before Sleeping

This is also an important tip for cracking the IIT JEE exam. At least 20 minutes before your sleeping time, take some time out and go through whatever you have studied throughout the day. It can be like what were the most important questions that you had solved, what formulas were used for the same, etc. If you want, you can also make a note of what concepts and questions were covered for the day to understand.

  1. Reduce Your Phone Time

As it can be seen that mobile phone is the reason for your distraction, you should avoid using it more. The less amount of time you spend on your phone, the more concentrated and energized you will feel. Do not spend your time scrolling through social media apps during your short study breaks as it can damage the routine. If you want to use a mobile phone, devote a set time for your social media chitchats and phone time and stick to it.

  1. Focus on Weakness

The most important part of the preparation plan should be to make mistakes and then learn from them. Introspect your weak points and find out which topic and subject you lack knowledge of and what is your strong point. While holding on to your strong points, start working on your weaknesses more. Your weakness can even be a lack of concentration, disclarity of a certain topic, or disinterest in a particular subject that you have to discover.
