The Board has already informed that CBSE Class 10th and 12th Board Exams 2024 will be conducted between February 15, 2024 and April 12, 2024. Students need to be aware that the CBSE Board exams are in less than six months, and getting ready for such important tests is no easy feat. The CBSE has requested that students prepare the entire syllabus for this year. The Board has made it clear that there will be no syllabus deductions because the pandemic situation is under control. In this confusing situation, we've put together a list of the best study strategies to help students get above 90%.
Also, scoring above 90% in board exams will not only contribute towards a good career but will help students feel confident about themselves as well. But getting such a percentage is not a cakewalk. After comprehensive research based on the data collected from students and teachers, we’ve found out that the most common and genuine question asked by the aspirants of board exams was how to score 90% in CBSE Exams 2024.
So, to answer this question we have shared a few tips and strategies as suggested by experienced CBSE teachers and board exam toppers.
Make a Study Strategy
Chalk out a proper timetable to make use of each and every minute of your time. Time management is the most crucial aspect and a trait that differentiates 90+ scorers from lower percentage students.
Studying without a proper timetable will not only waste your time but will also create too much confusion leading to frustration and anxiety. To avoid being in such a situation it's better to prepare a proper study timetable in such a way that you get enough time for revision.
Following a timetable religiously ensures consistency in results to reach the desired goal. So, try to manage your time in the best and the most effective way you can.
Practice Previous Years' Question Papers
Before appearing for any examination all of us have plenty of doubts in our mind; what will be the difficulty level of the paper, which topics will have more weightage and more. The best way to clear all these doubts and fears from your mind is to practice sample papers and previous years question papers.
It has been the success mantra for almost every high scorer every year. Also, this is considered to be the best way to do your revision and cover the syllabus. Solving previous years’ papers will help you a lot in understanding your preparation level and track all the important questions along with their marking schemes. So, during the last few months before the exam, try to solve at least the past 5 years’ question papers of each subject.

Stick to Your Syllabus
It is good to study from various reference books to improve our knowledge, but with board examinations knocking at the door, it becomes quite important that you focus more on your NCERT books.
We are not discouraging you from getting knowledge but if your sole objective is to score as high as you can in the CBSE exams 2024, you must just stick to the books listed in your syllabus.
The exam conducting body will NEVER ask questions beyond that outlined syllabus. So, instead of spending your important time reading advanced or extra things about your favourite topic/subject, the sensible thing would be to utilize that time to strengthen your weak areas/topics.

Keep Your Answer Sheet Presentable
You may know the right answer to all the questions but how you present makes all the difference. A response sheet with neat and readable handwriting represents an excellently presented answer sheet.
Several students cut through lines and words countless times in the answer sheet, destroying the neatness and cleanliness of their sheet. Students usually ignore such simple things but they should know that a clean and presentable answer sheet fetches more marks than the one which is filthy.
Also, don’t try to write unnecessary stuff and beat around the bush of any question. The answers must be precise and relevant to the question because no examiner is expecting any long stories.
Relax and Take Care of Your Health
Everyone knows that exam times are really stressful and this makes the student lose their sleep and deteriorate health. Therefore, it becomes very important to take proper care of your health especially during exams.
Almost 10% marks, if not more, depends on the night before the exam. So, take proper rest and involve yourself in activities which keep the mind relaxed. Try meditation and breathing exercises to rejuvenate your body levels, reduce stress and control anxiety.
Try to have a sound sleep for seven to eight hours during the night as it’ll help energize your brain and body for the next day.
