IIFT Exam Day Tips and COVID-19 Guidelines

IIFT is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted for admission in the Master of Business Administration in International Business (MBA-IB) offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade . IIFT 2022 will be held on December 5, 2021, and NTA has released exam day guidelines for the exam. Candidates who are appearing for the examination are advised to go through these guidelines to have a hassle-free experience.

In this article, we will provide you with the detailed IIFT Exam Day Guidelines along with all the important documents required to be carried on the exam day. Candidates must also take special note of the COVID-19 safety instructions issued by the exam conducting authority. Practice Mock Tests

Regularly practising IIFT 2022 Mock Tests will help you stay on top of the exam preparation. It will also help you find your strengths and weaknesses in the exam. Just make sure you time your attempts.

Revise Your Notes

Take some time out to revise your notes for any chapters you have studied early. Even a quick revision of basic concepts will refresh your mind and reduce the chances of forgetting anything.

Do Not Start a New Topic

It is a bad idea to start a new topic in the last week of exam preparation. Avoid it unless it is extremely essential. Instead, revising previously-studied concepts or working on your weak areas will give you much better results.

Plan Your Number of Attempts

Candidates must clear the overall as well as the sectional cutoff for admission through their IIFT scores. Since IIFT 2022 does not have any sectional time limit, it is advisable to plan your number of attempts in each section. 1. Do not forget to carry IIFT Admit Card

Candidates are advised not to forget to carry their IIFT 2022 Admit Card on the exam day. They will not get an entry into the examination hall without the admit card. Candidates should remember that they are not allowed to carry a virtual copy of the admit card in the examination hall.

2. Be on time

Candidates are advised to reach the examination hall 60 minutes before the allotted time. Those who are late will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

3. Carry a valid ID proof

Candidates are advised to carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card. They can carry one ID proof such as Voter ID, PAN card, Adhaar card or any other government-issued identity to the examination hall. Apart from this, no extra document is allowed inside the hall.

4. Listen to the Invigilator

Candidates are advised to listen carefully to the instructions provided by the Invigilator. They are also advised not to roam inside the examination hall unnecessarily.

5. Confirm your Seating Arrangements

Candidates are advised to confirm their seat arrangements. They are advised to check their seat arrangements in advance so that they can avoid wasting time at the last moment.

6. Do not Cheat in the exam

Candidates should not cheat in the exam. If any candidate is found to be violating the exam rules, his examination may be cancelled.

Documents Required on IIFT 2022 Exam Day

Candidates should remember that they will have to carry some of the documents on the day of the exam. The documents will be reviewed by the exam Invigilator before allowing the candidates to sit for the Exam. Those who are without ID proof will not be allowed to sit inside the examination centre. IIFT 2022 COVID-19 Guidelines

Given below are the IIFT 2022 COVID-19 guidelines that candidates should keep in mind.

IIFT 2021 COVID-19 Instructions

  • All the exam centres, as well as seats, will be sanitized before the exam commencement

  • Candidates will be provided with a 3 Ply mask before entry.

  • Candidates are advised to carry their own sanitisers and masks to the exam centre. However, they will be allowed to wear only the mask freshly provided at the centre.

  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the mask

  • Candidates are advised to maintain distance (6 feet) inside the examination centre

  • Candidates will be provided with a hand sanitiser outside the examination hall. They will have to wash their hands using the sanitiser before entering the examination hall.

  • Once the examination is over, candidates will be allowed to move outside the examination hall in an orderly manner

  • The allocated examination hall will not be displayed outside the examination centre. Candidates will be informed about their examination centre at the registration desk

  • The temperature of all the aspirants will be checked outside the examination hall. If the temperature of any candidate is not normal, he/she will be allocated a separate hall

  • Candidates can check their examination centre from their IIFT admit card. The address of the examination centre will also be mentioned on the admit card

  • Sheets for rough work will be provided at the examination centre

  • Candidates are required to paste their passport size photograph on the attendance sheet after sanitizing their hands

  • Candidates will have to drop their admit card and rough sheets in the dropboxes after showing them to the staff available next to dropbox.

Candidates should note that the admit card of IIFT will be released on the official website of IIFT. They can download their admit card after entering the login credentials such as their name and application number.
