IIFT 2022 Tips

For an examination like IIFT, the key to strong performance is how you are spending the last week leading to the exam. All of your hard work and IIFT 2022 preparation is going to be put to the test. The exam date of IIFT 2022 is December 5, and now is the time to take the final leap and strategize for the exam day. So, what should be your focus, and what are the IIFT 2022 last week preparation tips?

You should not be doing much in the final week before the IIFT 2022 examination . However, students who have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) will retain an edge as they simply have to revise the syllabus by keeping the aspects of the IIFT exam in mind. If you have studied properly throughout the year, now is the time for you need to relax and revise, that's it!

IIFT 2022 Last Week Preparation Tips

Go through the following tips to boost your IIFT 2022 preparation in the last week before the exam.

1. Go Through the Basics

Take a sail through the IIFT 2022 syllabus once more to identify the chapters that caused you challenges and the ones that went smoothly. If you haven't already worked on a topic, don't start afresh. There is not enough time for starting a new topic and you will not get anything out of it. Make a mental note to not attempt any questions from such topics during the exam.

2. Revise the Important Topics

It is time to take out those short notes you made while studying for the IIFT exam, such as formulas, theorems, and so on. Those quick notes can come in handy now in the final days of preparation. Instead of putting hours into long chapters, go through these notes as part of your revision. You will be able to recall the formulae and how to apply them more easily. All you have to do in the final week is to spend one to two hours daily revising these notes and crucial topics. Plan your revision time for the hours in which you have stronger memory.

3. Learn Shortcuts and Tricks

Practice the tricks and shortcuts of solving the questions of Quantitative Aptitude, detect patterns in reasoning questions, and other time-saving procedures a few more times. Due to time constraints, you might falter in solving all of the questions using traditional approaches. That's when you will need to use tactics and shortcuts to get questions solved swiftly and correctly.

4. Solve IIFT Mock Test

Even if you have given multiple IIFT mock tests for over a month, ensure practising a few mock tests in the week leading up to IIFT 2022. It is required for you to have a definitive sense of your level of preparation, specifically in terms of time management. You might, in fact, do better in this mock than the older ones. However, if you fail to score well in these IIFT sample papers , do not panic. Simply assess your performance in terms of your grasp of the key topics of the syllabus.

5. Exam Day Strategy for IIFT 2022

Lastly, you must develop an exam plan for IIFT 2022. The exam performance of candidates is heavily influenced by their state of mind on the exam day and how they utilize the allotted time. Being a speed-based test, IIFT comes with 100% multiple-choice questions (MCQs). So, first and foremost, you should be capable of eliminating the incorrect answers. This strategy can be used in both verbal and logical questions.

Since the IIFT 2022 exam pattern includes negative marking, do not attempt a question if you have an iota of doubt. Additionally, do not devote too much time to a particular question. The focus should be on answering all of the questions correctly in each section of the IIFT 2022 questionnaire, satisfying the sectional cut-off. Once you do that, you can go ahead and solve more questions to boost your score even further. Check the IIFT cut-off scores (both sectional and overall) in the preceding years and plan your strategy appropriately. It will be beneficial to solve a mock test while keeping this factor in mind.

If you arrive late, you may not be permitted to appear for the exam. Do not forget your IIFT 2022 admit card and stick to the method you had strategized for the IIFT 2022 exam as this will provide you confidence and you won't notice any stark difference between the mock tests you had practised and the exam.

Pondicherry University does not offer admission through a management quota or any alternative route if your CUET score is poor. Admission to most undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including popular programs like MBA, MCA, MTech, and others, is strictly based on CUET (UG or PG) scores, followed by the university’s counselling and merit list process. There is no mention of a management quota or donation-based seats in the official admission process or eligibility criteria.
