• No overall weightage has been assigned to the CAT 2024 score during shortlisting for PI.
• Different weightages will be given to all 3 sections in CAT 2024- VARC, DILR, and Quant during shortlisting. It will improve the chances of shortlisting candidates for the PI round.
• 35% weightage has been assigned to the CAT 2024 score during shortlisting.
• For academic performance in classes 10 & 12, 59% weightage will be assigned during shortlisting for PI.
• 6% Weightage has been given to the Diversity factor.
• A maximum weightage of 50% is awarded to the Personal Interviews during the generation of the Final Merit List.
• There are fewer chances that the WAT Round will be conducted during the final selection round.

Aspirants who selected IIM Indore as their preferred institute for management admission during the CAT 2024 registration process must know how to check the IIM Indore shortlist status. Selected candidates will be able to check the PI shortlist status on the official website of IIM Indore once released. Thus, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to check the IIM Indore Shortlist status:

• Candidates must first visit the official website for IIM Indore - iimidr.ac.in
• Candidates must then click on the ‘Programmes’ drop-down menu on the top side of the homepage and select the ‘Academic Programmes’ option. Candidates can also find the ‘Academic Programmes’ above the ‘News & Events’ section.
• On the next page, candidates must select the ‘Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)’ link among all the programmes.
• After a new menu appears under ‘Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)’ on the left side of the page, click on the ‘PGP Indore 2025-27 Batch Admissions Details’ link.
• Candidates will find the ‘Provisional Short-list for the Personal Interview (PI): PGP and PGP-HRM 2025-27 Batch’ link on both the main page and also the menu on the left, click on either one.
• Subsequently, candidates will be redirected to the Login window where they must enter their CAT 2024 Registration Number and Registered Email ID or Date of Birth to proceed.

Composite Score Components for IIM Indore Final Selection Criteria 2025-27

The final selection of candidates for the PGP candidates will be evaluated based on several factors. The IIM Indore selection process has several stages and aspirants must complete every stage to be considered for admission to the flagship management program offered by the institute. Aspirants must be thoroughly familiar with the the IIM Indore selection process at all times to avoid any confusion and to ensure they perform at their level best in each stage. That being said, we have described each of the stages involved in the IIM Indore selection process below for aspirants:

Stage 1: Meeting the Eligibility Criteria

As we know, the selection process for IIM Indore along with all the other Indian Institutes of Management begins with the CAT 2024 exam. Therefore, candidates must meet the CAT eligibility criteria as the first step. Apart from meeting the eligibility criteria for CAT, candidates also have to meet the eligibility criteria for the PGP management program offered by IIM Indore and also the minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile cutoffs set by the institute to be considered for the next round of the selection process. The eligibility criteria for CAT include:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates & 50% for General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates).
• Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India
• (FIAI)) with the required percentage (Same as Bachelor’s degree).
• Aspirants should be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree.

Stage 2: Shortlist for Personal Interview

Only those candidates who meet the criteria set by IIM Indore for the first stage of the selection process will be considered for this stage. A sufficient number of candidates will be selected for the Personal Interview rounds from each of the categories and a merit list will be prepared. Candidates will be selected for this round of the selection process based on a combination of factors that will be used to calculate the composite score. The parameters for the composite score have been mentioned in the table below:

Stage 3: Final Shortlisting

Once you are shortlisted, you will be called for a PI (personal interview). In the PI, the panel will examine various dimensions of your profile, such as academic credentials, attitude, approach, personality, communication skills, public awareness, and social attitudes. Quality of work experience will also be considered. The education you have received, any professional certifications, and overall qualifications will score your resume. Your final score will be determined after the personal interview, taking into account your performance in the CAT 2024 exam, the PI, and your resume score.

IIM Indore PGP Eligibility Criteria 2025

Make sure you meet at least one of these qualifications for the IIM Indore’s PGP eligibility criteria :

• You must have earned a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50%.
• You must have a Master's degree (or equivalent) with at least 50%.
• Or, you must have completed a 5-year Integrated Programme or a similar long-duration course with 50%.

Required Test Scores

To apply, you need valid scores from one of the following exams:

• GMAT
• GRE
• CAT

Important:

• GMAT and GRE scores should be within 5 years of the application deadline.
• For Phase 1, your test date should fall between November 17, 2019, and November 16, 2024.
• For Phase 2, your test date should be between January 16, 2020, and January 15, 2025.
• CAT scores must be within 2 years from the application deadline. Therefore, scores from CAT 2023 and 2024 are valid.

Work Experience

You must have a minimum of 5 years of full-time paid work experience after completing your Bachelor’s degree by the application deadline. The experience should be in managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional roles.

• For Phase 1, the application deadline is November 16, 2024.
• For Phase 2, the deadline is January 15, 2025.

IIM Indore 2025 Reservation Policy
