CAT scores of candidates are considered for selection in the first phase. In order to be eligible for selection at IIM Tiruchirappalli, candidates must have cleared the minimum cutoff set by the institute. IIM Tiruchirappalli Admission Criteria 2024-26: PI Process

After the COVID-19 outbreak, IIMs scraped off the WAT (Written Ability Test) round and started conducting PI online. IIM Trichy is yet to announce whether it will conduct WAT for the CAP 2024 process and PI in online or offline mode. This is the final selection round basis in which the cumulative score of a candidate is evaluated. Each component has certain weights according to which the final composite score is summed up and the final merit list is prepared for admission. IIM Trichy Admission 2024: Course-wise Weightage of Components

IIM Trichy Selection Criteria 2024-26 for Foreign Candidates

Non-resident Indians (NRI) or international students can also apply for MBA admission into IIM Trichy. Here are some prerequisites they need to meet to get a seat in the institute.

• International candidates will have to apply for PGP through GMAT scores. It is mandatory to send two recommendation letters from sources who were part of their curriculum.

• The selection criteria for international candidates are similar to that of Indian nationals. However, shortlisted candidates are selected directly for interviews. They can also appear for interviews through Skype.

• Applicants who are living, working, or studying outside India are considered international candidates. Those who live in countries like Nepal, where there is no entrance restriction to India will not be considered international candidates.
