IISC Bangalore MTech Admission Process through GATE

IISc Bangalore grants admission to eligible students into the MTech programmes offered at the institute based on the marks secured by them in the GATE exam. Selected students are required to appear for an interview as a part of the admission procedure. Students must register themselves at the COAP portal along with applying on the IISc Bangalore official website. The seat allotment result is released on the COAP portal. Students who are allotted seats will be required to visit the institute as per the specified schedule to complete the admission procedure. In case two or more students secure an equal GATE  2025cutoff rank, their performance in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration to break the tie.
