
IISER Cutoff JEE Advanced 2025: The Joint Action Committee, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, released the IISER Cutoff JEE Advanced 2025 for Round 1 & 2 via online mode at iiseradmission.in. The cutoff marks refer to the minimum scores/ranks required by a candidate to be eligible for admission to any of the seven IISERs in India. Candidates must note that authorities will announce the IISER 2025 cutoffs separately for all the candidates applying through different channels for admission. Students scoring well above the IISER Cutoff JEE Advanced 2025 will be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment rounds.

Candidates are required to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. According the website of IISER admission, candidate’s rank should be less than 10000 to apply through the JEE Advanced channel.
The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category are required to score a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their class 12 (or equivalent) examination. Candidates belonging to other categories are required to score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
It is known that the top 5–6 IITs constitute the “Tier-1″ and rest of the IITs/NITs/BITS are Tier-2. Likewise, for research, IISc and the top IISERs constitute Tier 1 for such research colleges and Tier 2 basically consists of lower IISERs.
IISERs have better placements than the IITs in terms of research prospects and quality of education. The majority of IISER graduates opt for higher studies in India or abroad after completing their degree.
IISER offers admission to the eligible candidates through three channels which are namely the KVPY Channel, the JEE Advanced Channel and the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT).
Admission at IISER through the JEE Advanced score will be open through three channels namely, KVPY Channel, IAT and JEE Advanced score. The candidates can get admission if they secure a rank within 15,000 in the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.
