IIT JAM Registration 2025 (closed): IIT JAM 2025 application correction process has commenced on the official website at joaps.iitd.ac.in and will continue till November 18, 2024. The Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Delhi has closed the registration process for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025 on October 18, 2024. IT Delhi will conduct the IIT JAM 2025 exam on February 2, 2025. IIT JAM is conducted to enroll the candidates for Master of Science and other postgraduate courses. IIT also offers integrated PhD courses along with other courses.

IIT JAM Registration 2025: Documents Required

To avoid any kind of hassle while filling out the IIT JAM application form 2025 the candidates must keep the documents required ready f application form. Check the list of the documents below:

• Active Mobile Number
• Active Email ID
• Adhaar Card Number
• Tenth Marksheet
• 12th Marksheet
• Graduation mark sheet ( 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year) or Combined mark sheet including marks for all sessions
• Valid Photo ID Proof
• Photograph (Dimension- 3.5cm X 4.5cm, Size in kB- 50kB to 200 kB, Size in Pixel-480×640 pixels to 240×320 pixels JPG/ JPEG format
• Signature (Dimension- 2cm X 7cm, Size in kB- 50 kB to 150kB, Size in Pixel- 160 X 560 to 80 X 280 in JPG/ JPEG format

IIT JAM Registration 2025: Step by Step Form Filling Process

The IIT JAM registration process is divided into various sections such as filling out personal details, verifying email & mobile number, document upload, application fee payment, etc. Check the detailed step-by-step application process for the IIT JAM 2025 exam below:

Step 1: Filling Personal Details IIT JAM Registration Form 2025

• Go to the official website of IIT Delhi- jam2025.iitd.ac.in
• Click on the ‘Registration’ tab
• Fill out the basic details asked- candidate’s name (First, Middle, and Surname), email ID, and mobile number
• Create and Confirm Password
• Fill out the Arithmetic Equation value in the box provided on the screen
• Click in the ‘Check In’ box
• Click on the submit button

Note: The candidate will receive a confirmation message in the registered mail and mobile number containing the Enrollment ID and OTP (One-Time Password). The candidates are advised to save the Enrollment ID for future reference.

Step 2: Verifying the Mobile Number & Email for IIT JAM 2025 Registration

• Click on the ‘Verify Mobile Number’
• Fill out the OTP sent to the registered mobile number
• Click on the ‘Verify Email ID’ button
• Fill out the OTP sent to the registered mail
• Click on the ‘Edit Application Form’ button

Note: The IIT JAM application form containing five different sections will appear on the screen.

Step 3: Fill in the Exam Details in the IIT JAM 2025 Application Form 2025

• Select the number of test paper(s) to appear for IIT JAM 2025
• Select the subject
• Select the exam cities according to your preferences
• Click on the ‘Save and Update’ button
• Click on the ‘Next’ button

Enrollment ID, Name, Candidate’s Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number are fetched from the registration panel

• Fill out the Date of Birth, Gender Nationality
• Select the ID Proof
• Fill out the ID Proof Number
• Select Category
• Fill out the PwD status
• Fill out the Parent/Guardian name
• Fill out the Guardian/Parent mobile number
• Click on the ‘Save and Update’ button
• Click on the Next button

Step 5: Filing Out Correspondence and Permanent Address

• Fill out the correspondence address
• Select the City from the drop-down
• Fill out the PIN Code
• Select District from the drop-down
• Select State from the drop-down
• Select Country from drop-down
• Click on the ‘Save and Update’ button
• Click on the ‘Next’ button

Step 6: Filling Out the Qualifying Degree Details in the IIT JAM Registration Form 2025

• Select the ‘Qualifying Degree’ from the drop-down
• Select the ‘Discipline of Qualifying Degree’ from the drop-down
• Select the qualifying status
• Fill out the year of passing
• Enter the address of the college/university
• Enter the PIN Code of the College
• Fill out the college/university name
• Fill out the city/town of college
• Select state/union territory from the drop-down
• Select the country of the college
• Click on the ‘Save and Update’ button
• Click on the ‘Next’ button

Step 7: Uploading the Documents in the IIT JAM 2025 Application Form

• Click on the ‘Choose File’ button from the ‘Upload Photograph’ section
• Select the photograph that needs to be uploaded (make sure the specification of the image fulfills the image criteria provided by IIT Delhi)
• Click on the ‘Open’ button
• The photograph will be uploaded
• Click on the ‘Choose File’ button from the ‘Upload Signature’ section
• Select the signature image that needs to be uploaded (make sure the specification of the signature fulfills the image criteria provided by IIT Delhi)
• Click on the ‘Open’ button
• The signature will be uploaded
• Click on the ‘Save and Update’ button
• Click on the ‘Next’ button
• Select the ‘Choose File’ under the ‘X Std. Mark sheet section
• Select the scanned image of Xth mark sheet
• Click on the open button
• The Xth mark sheet will be uploaded

IIT JAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to appear for the IIT JAM 2025 must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Check the IIT JAM eligibility criteria below:

• Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree. However, the final year appearing candidates can apply for the IIT JAM 2025 exam though they have to submit their mark sheet by September 2025
• To be eligible for admission, the candidate must qualify for the exam. Earlier in 2021, the cut-off marks for the General category candidates was 55 percent marks whereas other category candidates had to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks to clear the cut-off. This process has been relaxed and the candidates just need to qualify for the IIT JAM 2025 exam to get enrolled in the courses
• The candidate who will qualify for the IIT JAM 2025 exam will become eligible to apply for the application process
