Maharashtra Polytechnic Seat Allotment 2022- After the release of the Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022 merit list the qualified applicants are notified for the counselling process. Candidates who are eligible for counselling should fill out the form and select their preferred institute online through the official website. Three rounds of counselling will be held for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission in 2022: round I, round II, and round III. Candidates who do not meet the requirements for round I or do not participate in the counselling process will be called for rounds II and III in the same circumstances. The candidates' seats will be allotted based on their merit, the reservation policy, and the choices made by each candidate. After the verification of documents and payment of application fee, the admission process will be completed.

CAP (Centralized Admission Process)

"Centralized Admission Process (CAP)" refers to the transparent, single-window, centralized admissions procedure used by the concerned authorities to accept students to various courses at Technical Diploma educational institutions;

Stages for Counselling Admission Process (CAP)

The Centralised Admission Process for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022 will be conducted in the following given stages:

Stage 1: During stage 1, seats will be allotted to each candidate based on their merit.

Stage 2: The seats will be distributed amongst the male and female candidates during this stage. If there are any seats left after giving them to the female candidates, they will be given to the male candidates.

Stage 3: SBC candidates will be given seats through this stage. The seats will be allocated if remained vacant after allocating to OBC candidates.

Stage 4: Through stage 4, religious groups of the OBC category will get their alotted seats.

Stage 5: All candidates who fall under the OBC category will be given seats in this stage.

Stage 6: All candidates with physical disabilities will be given seats through stage 6.

Stage 7: All candidates who do not fall into one of the reserved categories will be given seats through stage 7.

Stage 8: During stage 8, all candidates who do not fall into a reserved category will be given the remaining vacant seats.

Documents Required for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022

At the time of counselling for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022, applicants must submit the following documents:

  • HSC level mark sheet
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Vocational Certificate
  • Photo Identity Proof
  • Passport size photographs
  • Reservation Certificate (If applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate (If applicable)

DTE Maharashtra 2022 CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment

The seats available for Round I shall be published on the official website. Candidates who appeared on the CAP's final merit list are eligible to participate in this stage by submitting an online option form. Through the candidate's login, the candidate must complete and submit the option form.

What After DTE Maharashtra CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment?

  1. If a candidate receives the seat according to his first preference, the selection will be automatically frozen, and the applicant must accept the selection.
  2. Such a candidate will subsequently not be permitted to take part in the following CAP rounds. Following that, the applicants should report to the designated institute to claim admission on the allocated seat
  3. Candidates who have been allotted a seat that is not their first preference and who are content with this allotment and do not intend to participate in further CAP rounds may use the candidate's login to freeze the offered seat. These candidates must then report to the specified institute to seek admission on the allotted seat
  4. Candidates who have been offered a seat other than their first choice and accepted the seat are eligible to participate in the future rounds for progress
  5. Candidates who were allotted seats other than their first choice but did not take them will be able to compete in the subsequent rounds.
  6. If the candidate has allotted seat on the basis of claim made in the application form and fails to produce the documents in support of the claim so made in the application, the allotment shall stand cancelled automatically and the seat shall become available for allotment in further rounds; Provided that, If Candidate is allotted seat without availing any benefit claimed in the application, in such cases the allotment of the seat to the candidate shall not be cancelled
  7. Finally, The Candidate will have to report to the institution finally allotted to him/ her and confirm the admission in the institution as per the schedule. The Institute shall verify the required documents and upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through Institute Login immediately and shall issue a system generated receipt of confirmation of admission & fee paid receipt to the candidate
  8. The candidate should provide all original documentation validating the statements made in the application when reporting for admission to the Institute. If a candidate is given a seat based on a details provided in their application but fails to present the supporting documentation, the allocation is automatically revoked and the seat becomes available for allocation in later phases; Provided, however, If a candidate is given a seat without receiving any of the benefits they requested in their application, the seat allocation will still apply. However, if there are any application errors, the candidate may make corrections to it as per the regulations

CAP Rounds II and III

  1. The website will publish the seats that are available for Rounds II and III. The online option form submitted by the candidate for the previous round can be filled and/or edited by the candidates eligible for rounds II and III. The eligible candidates falling into the following categories may apply for the seats that will be allocated throughout these rounds-
  • Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in any of the previous round
  • Candidates who did not participate (failure of filling option form) in previous round
  1. Candidates who have been allotted seat other than first preference whilst filling fresh option form, he/she need not fill the preference already allotted to the candidate in the previous round. Once upward preference is allotted to such candidate, his first seat allotment shall be automatically cancelled. In the event of no such upward preference is allotted, his previous allotment stands retained; There shall be no further betterment option available to the candidate after round III. The allotment made and/or allotment retained in round III for participating candidates in round III shall be final;
  2. The candidate must present all original documentation substantiating the facts mentioned in the application when reporting for admission to the Institute. If the candidate has allotted seat on the basis of claim made in the application and fails to produce the documents in support of the claim so made in the application, the allotment shall stand cancelled automatically and the seat shall become available for allotment in further roundHowever, if the candidate was allotted a seat without receiving the benefit claimed in the application, the seat will still be allotted to that candidate in those circumstances. However, in accordance with the rules, the candidate is allowed to correct any mistakes in the application.
  3. The candidate will be entitled to rectify the following errors in the application form by raising the grievance viz.
  • Change of gender from male to female and vice-versa;
  • Error while entering marks obtained by candidate in examination, However the change in the merit number due to increase in the marks will not be permitted;
  • Error while mentioning the caste/sub-caste/the category of backward class but in no case a candidate will be allowed to change from General to Reserved Category. A reserved category candidate will be allowed to change his category from Reserved to General upon his failure to submit requisite documents like Caste/Tribe Certificate, Validity Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate etc. as the case may be.
  • Removal of minority status due to failure of submission of supporting documents;
  • Removal of Disability status due to failure of submission of supporting documents;
  • Removal of Defence status due to failure of submission of supporting documents
  • Change in Type of Candidature;
  • Change in Home District;
  • Removal of Tuition Fee Waiver Seats (TFWS) status due to failure of submission of supporting documents;
  • Removal of Technical/Vocational Status due to failure of submission of supporting documents;
  • Change in Qualification. Apart from the above no other change or rectification shall be allowed.
  1. The candidate must confirm his admission to the institution as scheduled and report to the campus to to which he is officially allocated. The Institute shall verify the required documents and upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through Institute Login immediately and shall issue a system-generated receipt of confirmation of admission & fee paid receipt to the candidate.

CAP Allotment Stages and Process of Allotment

Allotment of seats under CAP shall be made in the following manner,- (1)Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.-

The stages of computerized allotment are as follows,-

Stage –I: For all the Candidates

Stage – II: For allotment of seats reserved for Female to Male Candidates.-If the seat remains vacant after allotment to Female Candidates of the Backward Class Category or Open Category, such seats shall be allotted to the Male Candidates belonging to respective Backward Class or Open Category.

Stage –III: For SBC Category Candidates- If the Other Backward Class Category seats remain vacant, such seats shall be considered for allotment to the Candidates of the SBC Category, limited to the extent of 2% seats.

Stage –IV: For all Candidates (without any type of Reservation).-The seats shall be considered for allotment to all the Candidates based on merit.

Stage –V: For all Candidates (without any Candidature Type)

  • (a) The seats remaining vacant shall be allotted to all Eligible Candidates.
  • (b) For seats reserved for Female Candidate

Minority Quota Seats

The stages of computerized allotment are as follows,-

Stage – I: The seats under the minority quota in the minority institution linguistic or religious shall be allotted to the respective minority candidates.

Stage – II: If the seats remain vacant, they shall be allotted to the Maharashtra State candidature Candidates.

General Provisions

  1. Allotment in CAP Rounds I, II, and III of Home District Seats, Other than Home District seats and State Level seats will be carried out as per the merit of Candidates having Maharashtra State Candidature.
  2. All Candidates eligible for a particular stage of allotment will be considered for allotment of a seat in that stage, even if they have been allotted or not allotted a seat in the previous stage.
  3. During the allotment of any stage, the Candidate may get an upward shift in the allotment with reference to the options filled by the Candidate according to the availability of seats at that point of time
  4. All reserved Category Candidates (including SBC in their original Category) shall be considered for allotment in all stages
  5. Due to upward shifts, the seats falling vacant shall be considered for allotment in further iterations of the same stage as per the provisions of that stage of allotment.
  6. Allotment against the first available option in the order of preference filled in shall be considered as final allotment
  7. The allotment list displayed on website will show the provisional allotment offered to the Candidates. No personal communication or allotment letters in this regard shall be issued to the Candidates
  8. A Candidate who has been allotted a seat shall download the “Provisional Seat Allotment Letter” from his login and shall pay the seat acceptance fees of Rs. 1000/- non- refundable
  9. Failure to accept the seat acceptance will be considered as if the Candidate has rejected the offer.
  10. Allotted Seat will be cancelled if, at any time, any of the document or certificate is found to be invalid or fraudulent and/or the Candidate does not meet the eligibility norms.
  11. Candidates who want to reject the allocated seat can do so by not paying the seat acceptance fee. Candidates who reject allocated seat shall be considered for admission in subsequent rounds only if they submit fresh option form for subsequent round of admission as per schedule.
  12. If any of the statement made in application form or any information supplied by the candidate in connection with his admission is found to be false or incorrect, the Principal shall cancel his admission and forfeit the fees. An appeal against the action of cancellation of admission, may be preferred within seven days to the Competent Authority. The Competent Authority shall decide the appeal within fifteen days and his decision thereon shall be final.
  13. Complaints regarding the use of fake Certificates to be investigated in time bound manner and if found guilty, such admission shall be cancelled. Further, appropriate action shall be initiated with due intimation to Competent Authority

Cancellation of Admission and Refund of fees, return of documents by Institutions.

  • The Candidate shall apply online for cancellation and submit a duly signed copy of system generated application for cancellation of admission to the institution.
  • Once the candidate submits an online request for cancellation, his/her admission shall be treated as canceled. The Institute shall consider the online request made by the Candidate for cancellation as final irrespective of whether he/she has submitted a duly signed copy of system generated application to the Institute.
  • In the event of such cancellation, the candidate forfeits their claim to the seat, which becomes open to other applicants. The candidate shall then become entitled to and the Institute shall refund the entire fees to the candidate after deduction of Rs.1000/- towards processing charges and return all his/her original documents submitted to the Institute within three days from submission of the duly signed copy of system generated application to the Institute.

Rajkiya Polytechnic, located at Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, offers a three-year-long Diploma in Chemical Engineering programme. For admission, you must have passed class 10 with at least 35% aggregate marks from a recognised board. A JEECUP score is mandatory for admission. Direct admission at Rajkiya Polytechnic Shahjahanpur, is not provided. Selection will be based on both merit and the JEECUP entrance exam, followed by counselling.
