ITI Hospital Housekeeping Syllabus : The Hospital Housekeeping Technician course is a one-year, full-time program. During this time, students study practical topics related to hospital housekeeping. This course is a part of the CTS program and is available at ITIs nationwide. The training has two main sections: Domain area and Core area. The Domain area includes Trade Theory and Practical skills, giving students the knowledge they need. The Core area focuses on Employability Skills, and teaching important life skills.
Students learn about the basics of personal hygiene and how to clean different hospital areas, such as patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, administrative offices, laboratories, waiting areas, and public restrooms. They also study various cleaning procedures for these spaces. This training helps students prepare for jobs in healthcare and continue their education. After finishing the course, graduates earn a National Trade Certificate (NTC) from DGT, which is recognized worldwide.
