ITI stenographer syllabus: The organisational occupational trade of stenography, also known as is practised in English. It is a professional programme developed to rapidly write and transcribe text using different symbols or acronyms for individuals, phrases, or sentences. The duration of trade is one year or two semesters each lasting six months. After completing this trade, students will be able to perform the following activities by acquainting themselves with the skills and knowledge gained while studying the ITI stenographer course curriculum.

• Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills because they will be interacting with many different kinds of people during their time at work.
• Incoming mail and other materials must be handled, meetings should be scheduled and confirmed, activities should be planned both internally and externally, and file systems must be set up and maintained.
• Together with these abilities, they should be detail-oriented, have good verbal and written communication skills, be able to plan and organise their time and be customer-focused.
• They should be able to think quickly, work diligently, sit comfortably, and type quickly.

As per the ITI stenographer syllabus and exam pattern, 100% weighting is applied to each exam to determine the final result. For Trade Practical and Formative assessments, 60% is the minimum passing, while for all other disciplines, it is 33%, where no grace marks are awarded to any candidate.
