What is the Difference Between JoSAA and CSAB Counselling?

JoSAA Counselling arranges six rounds of seat allocation for IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, etc., based on JEE Main and Advanced scores. It provides various branches and specializations. After JoSAA, some seats may remain vacant. CSAB conducts two special rounds only for NITs, IIITs, etc., to fill these vacant seats. Eligible candidates are those who didn't join JoSAA or those who want to upgrade their seats. CSAB offers the same branches as JoSAA institutes. These rounds ensure all seats are filled, providing opportunities for students who missed or want to improve their earlier chances.
