The result of JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 will be conducted from June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29. JEE Main 2022 Phase 2 processes have been postponed.

JEE Main Phase 3

NTA will conduct JEE Main in the month of June 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2022 for Phase 1 and July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 for Phase 2. Candidates who appear for Phase 1 can also appear for the Phase 2 exam. However, a separate application fee has to be paid for Phase 2. In addition, the candidates will have the flexibility to change the exam center for Phase 2 if he/she had applied for multiple sessions at a time. JEE Main 2022 is being conducted in 13 languages. JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria for Phase 1 are as follows –

Eligibility Norm 1

  • Candidates who have appeared for Phase 1  JEE Main 2022 can appear for the Phase 2 exam.
  • Candidates who have not cleared Phase 1 & can also appear for Phase 2.

Eligibility Norm 2

  • Candidates appearing/ appeared for Class 12 th exams in 2022 are eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
  • Candidates who have passed the 12 th exams in 2021 & 2020 can also register for JEE Main 2021.

Eligibility Norm 3

  • For Paper 1, the candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12 th .
  • For Paper 2A, the candidates must have studied, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12 th .
  • For Paper 2B, the candidates must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12 th .

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Application Form

In order to help the candidates get better clarity on the Phase 2 application process of JEE Main 2022, we have divided the process into two categories –

Application Process for Candidates Appearing for Phase 1 or 2 or both

  • Candidates who appeared for the Phase 1 exams of JEE Main 2021 must note that New Registration is not mandatory to fill out the application form.
  • The candidates will just have to log in with their Application Number & Password.
  • It is not necessary to upload the photograph and signature again.
  • Pay the application fee for the Phase 2 exam and take the printout of the confirmation page.

Application Process for Fresh Candidates

  • Candidates applying for the first time will have to complete the ‘New User Registration’
  • After new user registration, log in to fill in relevant details and upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature.
  • Pay the registration/ application fee and take the printout of the filled-in form.

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Exam Pattern

There will not be any difference between JEE Main 2022 exam pattern for Phase 1 and 2.  While the Paper 1 exam is applicable for B.E/ B.Tech, Paper 2A is for B.Arch, and Paper 2B is for B.Planning. Some of the major highlights of the JEE Main 2021 Phase 1 exam pattern are as follows –

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Syllabus

NTA has specified a similar syllabus for all phases of the JEE Main 2022 exam. For Paper 1, the candidates will have to take the exam in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry subjects. For Paper 2, the subjects are Mathematics, Drawing, and Aptitude. For Paper 2B, the subjects are Mathematics, Planning-based Questions, and Aptitude. You can download the PDF of the syllabus here.

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Admit Card

The Phase 1 JEE Main 2022 admit card will be released shortly after the conclusion of the application process. It is important to carry the admit card on exam day. The admit card has the detailed address of the exam venue along with important instructions.

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Answer Key & Response Sheet

Within two days after the Phase 1 exam, NTA will release the official answer key & response sheet. The candidates will be allowed to download a PDF of the same. If there are any objections to the answer key, a 2-day window will be active to challenge the same.

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 Results

JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 result dates are yet to be notified. The result will be available in the form of percentile. The candidates will have to enter the Application Number & Password to access the results. Candidates who have not cleared Phase 1 can appear for the Phase 2 exam in May.
