JEE Main 2022 (phase 2) exam will be conducted between 21 to 30 July, 2022. The JEE Main 2022 (second phase) registration dates have been released by the NTA officials.

JEE Main Phase 2

JEE Main 2022 Exam (phase 2) will be held between 21 to 30 July, 2022. The dates for registration have been revised on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in & nta.nic.in. The Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main 2022 Examinations have come out along with the official JEE notification. JEE Main session 2 registration will begin in the first week of May, according to NTA. The NTA will issue the JEE Main application form 2022 session 2 dates soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had already revised JEE Mains 2022 test dates for sessions 1 and 2. The session 1 test for JEE Main 2022 will be held from June 20 to 29, while the session 2 exams will be held from July 21 to 30. JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria (Phase 2)

The JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria is as follows –

Eligibility Rule 1: There is no Age limit specified for JEE Mains.

Eligibility Rule 2: The candidate should have passed Class 12th in 2020/2021 or due to appear in 2022

Eligibility Rule 3: Candidates who have passed Class 12 th in 2021 and 2020 are eligible to appear for the 2022 JEE Main exam.

Eligibility Rule 4: As JEE Main is conducted in three papers, the paper-wise eligibility is as follows –

JEE Main 2022 Application Form (Phase 2)

The application form for JEE Main 2022 (phase 2) will be released on 08th April. In order to help Phase 2 applicants to have an exact clarity on the registration process, we have divided the process into two categories –

Application Procedure for Already Registration Candidates (Phase 1, 2)

  • Candidates who have already appeared for any of the previous phases of the exam must note that there is no need to fill the application form and upload photo & signature again.
  • These candidates will have to login through the official website with their JEE Main Application Number and Password.
  • Pay the exam fee for Phase 2 and take the printout of the confirmation page.

Registration Process for Fresh Candidates

  • Candidates who have not appeared for any of the phases of JEE Main 2022 will have to complete the new registration on the official website.
  • Fill in all the details in the application form such as personal & education qualification details.
  • Choose the exam centre & language for the entrance exam
  • Pay the application fee

JEE Main 2022 Phase 2 Exam Pattern

The Phase 2 exam pattern of JEE Main 2022 is similar to previous phases. There will be negative marking for Numerical questions and MCQs. Some of the highlights of the exam pattern are –

Paper 1

  • It is conducted for B.E/ B.Tech
  • Total marks for this paper is 300
  • Negative mark for Numerical questions
  • A total of 90 questions with 30 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Choice to answer 5 questions out of 10 from Numerical in each section
  • -1 mark deduction for each wrong attempt in MCQs

Paper 2A

  • It is conducted for B.Arch
  • Total marks for this paper is 400
  • Drawing Test is conducted offline
  • Negative mark for Numerical questions
  • A total of 82 questions from three sections including Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing test
  • Choice to answer 5 out of 10 Numerical Questions
  • -1 mark deduction for MCQs

Paper 2B

  • It is conducted for B.Planning
  • Total marks for this paper is 400
  • Negative mark for Numerical questions
  • Three sections – Mathematics, Aptitude Test & Planning based questions
  • A total number of 105 questions will be given in this paper
  • Choice to answer 5 out of 10 Numerical Questions
  • -1 mark deduction for MCQs
