JEE Main Session 1 2025: The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main Session 1 2025 exam tentatively from February 2 to 12, 2025 as a computer based test. JEE Main Session 1 2025 application form is expected to be released by the authorities on November 4, 2024 and the tentative last date for students to fill the application form of JEE Main Session 1 2025 will be December 1, 2024. The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main Session 1 2025 Admit Card tentatively on January 29, 2025 i.e. 3 days in advance of the actual date of the examination. JEE Main Session 1 2025 Exam Date

JEE Main Session 1 2025 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency in the online mode. As per the previous year's trends, Session 1 of the exam will be conducted by NTA tentatively from February 2 to 12, 2025. The JEE Main Session 1 2025 exam will be held in two shifts i.e. the morning shift and the evening shift for both the sessions.

JEE Main Session 1 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The National Testing Agency highlights the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 eligibility criteria in a detailed manner on its official website. According to the eligibility criteria of JEE Main Session 1 exam:

  • Students must appear for the BE / B.Tech if they have successfully cleared the class 12 board exam or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subjects.
  • For the B.Arch Paper,  candidates are required to clear the class 12 exam with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in  Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or successfully passed 10+3 diploma examination with 50% marks in aggregate along with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • For the B.Planning paper, candidates have to clear the qualifying examination with Mathematics.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Application Form will be released tentatively on November 4, 2024 and the last date to fill the application form is December 1, 2024. Candidates have to first register themselves to continue to fill the application form of JEE Main Session 1. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 application form will be available on the official website of NTA. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below in order to fill the application form of JEE Main 2025 exam.

Steps to Fill out JEE Main 2025 Application Form Session 1

Step 1: Registration

Candidates have to first register themselves in the online mode on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in by filling up the necessary details like name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, phone number and a valid mail ID.

Step 2: Filling the JEE Main 2025 Application Form

After successfully completing the registration process for the JEE Main Session 1 2025 exam, candidates can proceed to fill the application form of JEE Main 2025 exam. Candidates have to fill out all the necessary details like academic details, communication address, personal details in this section.

Step 3: Uploading Necessary Documents

The next step requires candidates to upload all the required documentation, which includes a recent passport-size photo, signature and PwD certificate in the format that the authorities have specified. Applicants can review the detailed format in the table below.

JEE Main Session 1 2025 Syllabus

The syllabus of JEE Main 2025 Session 1 for Paper 1 i.e. BE / B.Tech course will comprise the subjects Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. For Paper 2A i.e. B.Arch course, Part 1 will comprise of Mathematics, Part II of Aptitude Test and Part III of Drawing Test. JEE Main Session 1 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates who will be appearing for the JEE Main 2025 exam must be well-versed about the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern session 1 . JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted as a computer based test for a total time duration of 3 hours for paper 1, paper 2A and paper 2B.

However, for paper 2A and 2B both, the total time duration of the exam will be of 3.5 hours. Aspirants must also have an extensive knowledge about the marking scheme of the exam.

As per the marking scheme of the JEE Main 2025 exam, for the multiple choice questions, 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. For unanswered questions, no marks will be deducted. In case the question is dropped by NTA then full marks will be awarded irrespective of whether the question was attempted or not by the candidate. Additionally, 4 marks will be given for each right answer on the numerical value questions, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates must know that no marks will be awarded for questions that are left unanswered.
