  • All students must have successfully completed their 10+2 or equivalent with a Science background from a recognized board of education.
  • All students must have English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects in their qualifying examination.
  • Students who have passed from State Open School recognised by NIOS are also eligible for GNM admission in Karnataka.
  • All students must secure a minimum of 45% (for General Category) marks in their 10+2. Students who fall under the categories of ST/SC/OPH must secure at least 35-40% marks in aggregate.
  • Only students who are permanent residents of Karnataka are eligible to apply for Karnataka GNM Admission 2025. In case a student is not a permanent resident, they must have completed their primary education or Classes 10th and 12th from a school affiliated to the Karnataka state recognized board of education. If any student has completed their primary education outside the state, either of their parents must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
  • All applying students must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31, 2025, or the year of admission. However, there is no upper age limit to apply for the same.
