Karnataka M.Sc Nursing Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for M.Sc nursing admissions in Karnataka, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria mentioned below:-

Academic Qualification

  • Candidates must have graduated B.Sc in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks.

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to secure minimum 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying examination

Work Experience

  • Candidates should have minimum one year of work experience after obtaining B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from any Hospital/ Nursing educational Institution/ Community Health (Need to be completed on or before the date of Counselling).

  • Candidates should have registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives in the State Nursing Council.

  • In Karnataka, the maximum age limit for M.Sc Nursing Admission is 45 years.
