Eligibility Criteria for Kerala M.Sc. Nursing Admission 2023

To apply for PG Nursing admissions in Kerala, you will have to meet the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification

  • You must hold a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Kannur, and Cochin University.

  • If you have completed a relevant course from any other institution recognised by KUHS, you will be considered eligible.

  • If you have completed Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PBB.Sc.) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from the above-mentioned institutions, you will be considered eligible.

Nativity

  • You must be holding a valid domicile certificate of the state of Kerala at the time of admission.

  • Your bachelor’s degree must also have been issued by a Nursing college located in Kerala only.

Nationality

You must be a citizen of India.

Age Criteria

  • The upper age limit for the exam is 46 years.

  • If you are a service applicant, you can apply for the exam until the age of 49 years.

Work Experience

  • You must have at least one year of work experience.

  • The experience should be in any Community Health Centre or a hospital after completing B.Sc. Nursing.
