The admission to BHMCT programme happens through an entrance examination conducted by Kurukshetra University called the KUK entrance exam. Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) course is offered at Kurukshetra University the duration for which is four years which is further divided into eight semesters consisting of six months each. The BHMCT course at Kurukshetra University offers BHMCT under the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management.

The entrance test is usually followed by a group discussion and personal interview. Kurukshetra University BHMCT Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The admission to BHMCT course can be initiated by the students only when they meet the eligibility criteria for applying to Kurukshetra University. The eligibility criteria for all the 40 seats available at Kurukshetra University for BHMCt courses are as follows.

• The students must be citizens of India.
• Must have completed 17 years of age
• The student must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised board that is accepted by Kurukshetra University.
• The students must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks in the qualifying examination.
• The students must have studied English as a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination.

Kurukshetra University BHMCT Application Process 2023

The application process is very significant for the students and they must follow the steps sincerely so that they don’t make any mistakes in filling the application form. The students need to fill all the personal and academic details carefully by going through the steps as mentioned below. They should also check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form online.

Step 1- The students must visit the official website of Kurukshetra University.

Step 2- The students then need to click on ‘New User Registration’ to proceed further.

Step 3- After clicking on registration, the students need to click on the tab ‘Applicant Login’ in order to complete the application form.

Step 4 - The students need to fill all the details after selecting BHMCT course and upload all the relevant documents.

Step 5 - The students need to pay the application fee of Rs 800 for the General category and Rs 200 for others (SC/ST/PH and Blind Candidates of Haryana Only) in order to complete the application form. If a student applies for more than one course, he/she will have to deposit a fee of Rs.300 (75 for SC/ST/Blind candidates of Haryana only) for each course separately.

Step 6 - Finally, the students need to save the application form and submit the same. The students must note down the registration number for any further admission requirements.
