Documents Required for KCET 2024 Counselling

Documents Required for KCET 2024 Counselling - KCET option entry will commence soon tentatively in the last week of July or First Week of August 2024. During KCET counselling, candidates must keep ready all the documents required for KCET 2024 counselling. These documents need to be uploaded through the online application link to claim eligibility and reservation benefits. All candidate must possess all necessary original documents with them in support of their claim made in the online application. If any candidate fails to upload any of the documents/certificates/marks card, such candidates will not be eligible to exercise the options for seat allotment. List of Documents Required For the KCET Counselling 2024

Here is the complete list of all the documents that the candidates must submit during the documents uploading procedure of the KCET 2024 counselling process -

  • A copy of the final submitted KCET application form 2024

  • KCET hall ticket 2024

  • Class 10/SSLC mark sheet

  • Class 12/IInd PUC mark sheet (in case of provisional mark sheet, the candidate must submit the mark sheet which bears the signature of the principal of the institution from where he/she has completed his/her IInd PUC/Class XIIth studies)

  • 7-year study certificate bearing the signature of the concerned DDPI/BEO (CBSE/CICSE study certificate holders are exempted from getting their certificates signed by DDPI/BEO)
  • Kannada medium certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Rural Study Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Affidavit for candidates claiming Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses
  • Two recent passport-size photographs of the candidate

Additional Documents Required For KCET Counselling 2024

In addition to the aforementioned certificates and documents, the candidates have to provide the following documents if they fall under the “Only If Applicable” category:

Certificate Type

Who Should Submit

Income Certificate

  • For candidates whose total family annual income is less than INR 8 LPA) issued by the concerned Tehsildar

  • Candidates belonging to the GM, CAT-1, SC and ST categories must obtain separate income certificates

Kannada Medium Certificate

Candidates belonging to the Karnataka state or any other state who have studied in Kannada medium from 1st to 10th standard. The certificate should be issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/BEO

Rural Study Certificate

Candidates who have spent at least 10 full academic years (1 to 10) in any recognized Rural Educational Institution have to submit a certificate issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/BEO. Such candidates also have to submit an income certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar

Case Certificate

Reserved category candidates such as SC, ST, and OBC (Category 1) candidates have to submit their respective caste certificates issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tehsildar.  Such candidates also have to submit an income certificate to avail of the benefits of the tuition fee waiver scheme and various Scholarships

Hyderabad-Karnataka Certificate (Article 371)

Candidates applying in the KCET counselling process through the Hyderabad-Karnataka (Article 371) reservation policy must submit all the important documents issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner

Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.

Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

IDENTITY CARD issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate / Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under the Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.

KCET 2024 Documents Important Pointers

  • The details on the documents must verify the candidate's name, father's name, mother name printed on the certificates/marks cards, etc.
  • The study Certificate should contain the details about study period and years. BEO / DDPU counter signature is compulsory on the study certificate.
  • Candidates must check the date of issue of the caste certificate/ caste income certificate. They must also check the validity of the certificate.
  • Check the RD number printed on the caste certificate/ caste income certificate/ income certificate. Without an RD number candidates cannot be eligible to claim a reservation.
  • The caste certificate/ caste income certificate/ income certificate should be in the name of the candidate only.
  • The caste certificate/ caste income certificate/ income certificate should be of Karnataka state only. OBC certificate issued by the Central Government is not valid for admissions through KEA; it should be in Form-F for 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B reservations, Form-E for Category-1, and Form-D for SC / ST reservations.
  • Category-1 and SC or ST candidates should also submit income certificates to avail the benefit of fee exemption as per Government norms. If they fail to produce the income certificate they will not be eligible to claim fee exemption benefits.

Yes, certainly the question paper for PCB and PCM is different in MP PAT. In PCB question papers, questions from Physics (50 Marks), Chemistry (50 Marks), and Biology (100 Marks) are asked whereas in PCM  the question paper consists of these subjects viz Physics (50 Marks), Chemistry (50 Marks), and Mathematics (100 Marks)
